Asham should have got 10 games at least. 15 was what I would have given him. 4 is a complete joke.

IMO, Neal should have gotten at least 2 games... 2 incidents and repeat offender. Carl Hagelin or Andrew Shaw must be looking at this and saying to themselves: "WTF?"

I guess I didn't consider the repeat offender thing for Neal, you have a good point.

Shaw I'm still amazed about, but maybe I'm just being naive (and no I'm not a Blackhawks fan by the way). In my mind I didn't understand why Smith was behind goal when there wasn't a clear Coyote as the nearest player to dump the puck to. Shaw was trying to make his play but his hands were never raised and they just hit heads.

as a blackhawk and hockey fan all i can say is there must be a room full of fuking morons (or at least one asshole in shannahan) handing out suspensions

trying to be objective as possible

shaw's hit on smith was the most unintentional of the "suspensions" i've seen yet he gets the most time???

and then in todays game fuking the grunt ass no skill loser torres goes airborne well after the puck is gone and send hossa to the hospital on a fuking stretcher and the shit ass coyotes.....COYOTES...get a power play???

oh for the days of al secord......torres would have been doa before the next face off.

if those losers in the leauge office dont put out a "video" explaining how torres is suspended 5+ games (minimum....i'd say "indefinitely") then that fuking marketing douchebag bettman has some explaining to do.

Schenn never left his feet on his hit, he just blew up the pens player.

However i do think the crosscheck by Asham looked worse than it was, but the intent to injure was there. Not to mention the punch to the back of the head when Schenn was face down.

think Asham should have gotten more than 4 games.

my complaint is Neal was suspended for his hit on Giroux, not the hit on Couturier which was worse in my opinion.

More suspensions in 1 week than the entire playoffs last year.

where is the weasel Bettman at to defend his league to the people that say hockey is to violent?

i hate that f*ckin' guy!!!:chairshot

the suspensions for Asham and Neal seem appropriate. Quick question, and I'm in no way backing what Asham did, but was I the only one that it looked like Schenn left his feet on his hit prior to Asham unloading on him? Again, Asham crossed the line, but looked like Schenn left his feet to me and I'm sure the Pens had a bullseye on Schenn due to his cheap shot on Crosby late in the regular season.

I was just talking about that the other day with someone. Schenn to me does leave his feet. Why is no one even mentioning that?

I am very disappointed in the Pens conduct. Its disgraceful.

I know you are a Flyers and I am a Pens fan but I was wondering if Neal was targeting Couterier or if they just skated into each others paths w/ Neal leaving his feet to avoid being pounded.

Also, then after I saw Neal fly for Giroux then I was thinking he meant to hit him.

Better team won the series. You guys played hockey. Congrats!

Wonder how Pens fans will react to the Pens winning a grand total of 2 games in NHL playoffs.

Gone 1st round......and many picked em to win it all.

Wow:scared

This series for the most part they looked like a completely different team than how they played the 2nd half of the regular season. Fluery was obviously off his game, the defense support wasn?t there for him, the penalty killing wasn?t there and overall the Pens just weren?t very aggressive and appeared lackadaisical far too often. Last year?s playoff collapse was forgiven due to the injuries, however Blysma has to take a lot of heat for this quick exit. Definitely a disappointment considering the talent they have on that team.
