I have to admit I have hated this guy ever since I've moved to Indy. All of my friends have been on his jock since his rookie year, but he is hands down the best QB that has ever lived. It doesn't matter if he took 4 guys out of Madjacks and lined them up he would still pick them apart.

I used to think T. Brady was better, because, in the beginning, he did more with lesser talent on the offensive side, David Givens and Deion Branch, Cmon, but I do admit his defense was alot better than the Colts. However, this year look who Peyton is passing to: Austin Collie and Pierre Carcon :142smilie It doesn't matter the guy is a machine. I finally have to admit to all of my Colts homers that Peyton is the best. Hopefully, they'll choke in the playoffs like ususal

fortunately really..

we get to watch the greatest signal-caller since the inception of the game, who is in his prime, through the mastery of Hi-Def tv w/super slo mo and the electronics to record it for our children to marvel at when they get old enough to appreciate it..

great luck for football fans..

fantastic actually..

During tonite's game I was telling my 11 yr old son
that we are watching the greatest QB to ever play....it's truly amazing what Manniing has been doing this season...He lost HC Dungy , and
WR Harrison this year and he has not slipped at all..

And yes :director: HDTV ROCKS :toast:

I'm not a Colts fan.....but to say he's the best QB playing right now would be a serious understatement.

Under a mask.
Leave it to a Patriots fan to question this post.
First off 60% of his passes go to either Clark or Wayne.

Not taking anything away from Collie or Garcon, but facts are facts.Im still holding out judgment on ol Manning.

One of the best ever ? of course!Marino was also one of best ever also.He never won 1 SB.I know Manning has one.

Honestly I judge greatest QBS by SBs won.Example would be Staubauch,Bradshaw,Young Aikman,Brady,etc..He needs to win it all this year to mark that claim.

The the way there winning now spells disaster in the playoffs IMO.You cant make 4th quarter comebacks your resume. Its bound to come back and bite you, esp. in the playoffs.

PS-Dont shoot back about all the problems the Pats have this year.I already know. This is about Indy and Peyton.

Thanks in advance.

Joe Montana was the best I ever seen.

Some may argue that if it wasn't for Bill Walsh---Joe Montana and Steve Young wouldn't be in the hall of fame. I say that is true of Steve Young.

I am telling you I saw nobody do it better than Montana.

Some raandom thoughts: Peyton Manning is great. Brady played on great teams. Bradshaw played on great teams. If Archie Manning played on the 70's Steelers team...he may have been the greatest ever.

Lost HC Dungy, do you really think that hurt Manning? He made Dungy. Dungy sucked as a HC before Manning and now he is doing the same for Caldwell. The Colts whom is my least favorite team in the NFL could save money and not even have a HC or off. coor.

Okay I was going along with just about everything until the Archie Manning comments. He was nothing more than a journeyman in the NFL. A palooka. And who was so great on Brady's teams? Brady has stepped up in the playoffs much more than Manning to this point.

Brady is a great QB! He can do everything you need a QB to do at a great level, plays great on the biggest stages, great leader, extremely smart, extremely dedicated, if you can't label him great, than throw this word out when labeling NFL qb's!
