Heard interesting stat on the radio today. Peyton has been to the playoffs in 11 different years. In those 11 playoff appearances he has been one and done seven times! He has only made it past the first playoff game four times out of eleven. That is amazing to me for such a highly regarded QB.

The qb gets all the blame when a team loses, it still amazes me.too much credit when they win. Wilson at Seattle is a great young qb, but take away half the terrific defense or a few of the o line or Beast at RB and he wouldnt b in the second round of the playoffs.so how many points and yards did the colts d give up in those losses?Did Manning play safety or lbacker in those games?

Good points. Peyton definitely never had a D anywhere close to this good in Indy.

2007 season was close..

#2 vs the pass..

but #15 vs the run..

#3 overall that season..

on more to your point the run was a hell of a lot more important then..

I hope the Pats can take care of business tomorrow, so we can have a rematch of last years AFC Championship Game! :box2:

Another tough game. I'm glad to be there again but we must advance.

For Ray

I personally believe the broncos have yet to open up the throttle all the way except for a few quarters of a few games this year. This post season, you will see the true domination of this team.

Especially this game. They've been waiting for this game for a whole year. They can't let that shit happen again. Been licking their chops for 2 weeks planning this. Can't let the fans down. This is huge. It comes down to who wants it more. Denver is like Baltimore was last year, they waited for this opportunity for a whole year and can't let it get away. Denver comes out and punches them right in the mouth and never looks back, in my opinion.

34-21 Broncos.

Cant let the fans down?? Really? The fans have no play in the outcome unless they make a lot of noise. I doubt any of the Broncos are thinking" Geez, we sure can't let the fans down," c'mon, UR smarter than that.... R nt u?

Yes, I think emotions and incentives have a lot to do with this. Ever want to please your dad when you were a kid, or show off to your friends? Put extra effort into it. Reach way down inside and gather up as much energy as possible. The one that wants it more will win. Yes, the fans help, they help a lot. You don't think so? " c'mon, UR smarter than that.... R nt u?

no HE can't...

but the defense COULD give up 27 and lose..

8 out of 12 times the team Peyton Manning has QB'ed, has lost the first game of the playoffs. That is not a small sample, he has to take some responsibility for these one & done's. God knows everybody wants to praise him and give him all the credit when he wins.

Just like Brady should get some of the blame for the Patriots recent playoff failures. There are other reasons the Pats have lost, but the buck stops at the QB.

Peyton Manning is one of the Greatest, if not the Greatest "Regular Season" QB's of all time.
