Maybe the bastages will, at least, run the early races. I do like the first race and one of the later race's..

!st race: No. 7, Sabbath Bay (7/2), is top rated. Good connections, gives a good effort most of the time, and outside post is where ya wanna be in this race.

6th race: A no. of pricey ones are looking mighty good in this race and if I'm right about that... it'll be big Philly balloons $$$. There's 4 in this full field that I'll be watching in the prerace stuff - 1,5,7,9. Hoping that the "Stooges" may see "20/1" and just ignore the no. 5 hoss, "Moe Larry Curley", cause I won't be doing that. I'll also be on the no. 1 in this event. Each of these two (1 and 5) get bet to Win/Place and I'll prob. go with some exactas with each of them as well.
BTW, even if they do run - they just might quite before this 6th race.

Good Luck, MJers.

Good to seeyas, MJers

Sportsaholic, long time no see. Hope you're doing well.

DT, I'll be heading to over to your place to see how ya doin after this. I was thinking.... what would we be doing on the kinda days/night we've ALL been experiencing lately without these electronic TOYS. Imagine sitting home, looking out the window at the freakin ice box outside while listening to the dang RADIO? Err.. NO, I ain't that old but this crap does remind me what I did way back when I spent a freakin frigid day, sitting on a wooden crate that was sitting on a block of ice on a street in good ole Jersey City, N.J. And what was I doing?

I was replacing a broken leaf spring on my "NEW" '57 Chevy (actually about 10 yrs. old) with a "new" rusty one that I got from the junk yard.

I had to turn on the dang heat lately even down here in sunny Fla. These toys may be gradually taking down the whole country/world without us realizing it, but it does feel good to have them lately.

Now, back to them Philly dirt bombs... how bout them 2nd wace prices? Man oh Man :scared:

Hoping they can hang on for one mo race right now... the 6th is coming up. I don't know which one the no. 5 is Moe, Larry, or Curley, but I do know the bastage is getting bet down :(

about 5 or so mins to post.

I'm afraid it was CURLEY :(

Ran well enough to get 3rd at 10/1 and I'll cash my side bet (x,x,2x) but it ain't gonna cover the amount I bet on the race. Prices ain't up yet.

EDITED: Prices just went up and Curley paid more than I thought it would , $6.40 to Show. Got almost 3/4s of the bets back. Still, woulda cashed a $3 stinkin dollar zacta if he got second and that woulda paid pretty decently.

Happy snow boarding.

Hiya, Hamster

Hiya, Hamster

Great to see you're hanging in there.

As Sportaholic would say, "Just for shits and giggles", hmm is that what he sez??... I pulled up the 7th, no handicapping whatsoever and played 4 stinkin dollars W/Pl on the no. 8, a horse I've liked for some time now, and, of course, TWO STINKIN dollars on "Little Yimmy", as my Spanish friend would say. How could I not play my namesake, Jimmy. That one I do remember showed good speed in it's last race. No. 8 was the wiener.

Caught a $8.40 wiener

That's not the first time that's happened to me. No bigger, but just passing time for the rest of the afternoon. :popcorn2

OK, last wace.....

OK, last wace.....

Nos. 3 and 5 to win, decent enough odds on each to play both. Quickie plicks, that's all.

Now, let's see what happens.

L@@Ked like a dead heat?

L@@Ked like a dead heat?

Waiting for photo... . .

SOMB,... no 1 barely nipped the no. 3. Can ya believe Laura Carson beat out Molina to win it? Too bad though that it's the hoss that's doing the running. Most of the time the jockey excuse is a lame one anyways.

Looks like it's gonna warm up for them tomorrow but just letting the snow melt on the track could mean a mushy track and that would give them an excuse to cancel. Big time tracks have the equipment to ensure they would run tomorrow but Philly ain't "big time", but THEY DO have a casino :(
