Philly - Monday

Yesterday: Sure felt like a bad day but after looking over my postings again.. it really wasn't that bad at all. Only played 3 or 4 races, got refunds due to scratches, a second place finish .. just no exotics. Think it felt much worser FOR ME cause I got clobbered a bit in that 2nd race. Forty dollars worth of crapola was a bit excessive for me; really thought I had the tri figured out.

Not coming up with any EXTRA solid plays again today. That damn horse, Next Exit, that I liked on Saturday's card was SOLID IMO. And they cancel the races... Son a Ma....

Went over them REAL close like as I always do and think these are worth small to medium size plays for today...

Race 2
no. 4, Last Tyche (8-1) should be the key to this race. Consistent as all hell, can handle the slop, right distance, right class, and OVERdue. Mariano ain't one of my favorite jocks, but he rode this one 7 times in pps and never got worser than 3rd. Value at the M.L. odds. I'll be using the 1,5,8,9 with him in zactas and probably play him W/PL just in case PooPoo happens with the zactas. I'll also check out the no. 3 and 9 (8-1 M.L.) in the prerace. Don't need to put much on the one that looks better to cover the whole play due to their odds

Race 7
Pretty much the exact same comments as the pick above for the no. 4 hoss, One of the Best, in this race. Think this one will go off right around it's M.L. odds of 7-2. MUCH better jockey on this one. Competition is stiffer though in this race but I'm very familiar with this hoss and the drop down to $7.5 claimers with the connections this one has suits me fine. Nos. 1,2,9,10 go with this one in zactas and a side play on no. 9 to WIN works for me.

Race 8
I'm thinking trifectas for this race and prob. will go with them IF I'm ahead at this point. ONLY ONE STINKIN DOLLAR TICKETS, MJers. ..
5,8/1,2,5,8/1,2,5,9 (that's no typo/mistake)
and... .. zactas no. 9 top/bot with 5,8.

Tomorrow is TUE$ which has been my lucky day for quit some time at this track. If you look over the archives.. you'll see why. Maybe another 45-1 wiener? I think it was on a Tuesday that I hit those other two a couple of months ago.. and those two WEREN'T DISQUALIFIED. ... Grrrr!

May be something in the 9th? Didn't get to that wace yet.

Well, so far - it's looking too much like yesterday. BAD, bad start. Didn't get to see the 2nd race live but the replay told me that something was not right with the "Tyche" hoss. Either, a physical prob. OR I was dead wrong about that one handling the slop. Ran terrible.

Aggravation Dept
When I got online, the 5th race had a couple of minutes to post. I just couldn't come up with anything for that race after spending a long time trying to figure that one out. Didn't play a thing. Mrs. Jimbo asked me who I had for the 5th and, off the top of head, I told her a horse that I've played many, many times before; in fact, a hoss that was very good to me in the past. I didn't bother watching the race cause I wanted to see the replay of the 2nd race.

After returning to the LIVE races, with my tail between my legs, I see that the winning hoss I told her I picked (make believe, OF COURSE) was TIDWELL. Maybe you (HM, Hammy) may remember how many times that hoss was my pick and I KNOW I cashed some nice win bets and/or exactas on that one. In fact, I did look that one over a FEW times last night, but the race was just too competitive.

Tellyas, this game is getting very frustrating lately.

Hammy, one place where my luck is holding out is with the NFLers. The "trick" plays have been working wonders for me throughout the playoffs. Trick = "how many points the team will score, O/U". Had a day's worth of Philly bets on "49ers score UNDER 21 1/2 pts". 5 Dimes offers these props. I hit two other plays so far with this type of bet. My ONLY loss from the playoffs so far was the upset of the Saints. Giants have been "berry good to me" so far.

Added the no. 3 to go with the no. 4 in zactas; no. 3 looks like it wants to run today and that's another hoss that I clicked with in the past.

Also, played no. 4 across by itself since PooPoo's been happening to me too much lately and just the ones I don't have in zacta might come in with it.

What the hell is going on ?? Not even a call during the race??? Was I watching the wight wace??

"Best" has been no worse than 3rd in EVERY one of it's last TEN waces except for only 2 of them; ALL in the $7.5 K claimer range. One of the races was on an OFF track and he finished 3rd with a 87 speed rating which beats these. And little argument about this one having the best jockey AND trainer in this race. Last three races were in $12.5s claimers and he finished 3rd - 4th - and 3rd with excellent running lines and comments.
What the fuck is up with this twack??

this is getting to be too muckin futch.

I'll use the weather/track as an excuse for these recent results but I better hit something HUGE tomorrow or it's gonna be a long, hot summer, playing TENNIS players instead of hosses until I get back ON TRACK with Philly which just might happen When is the question.

Seen enough.. gotta wait till the weather clears up; this is ridiculous. Figure horses (Esp. pricey ones) that worked for a long time are not even getting a call or just a minor piece of the pie. Not for me.

Super Bowl? It's like Philly these days... tough, tough, tough matchup. Gotta LUV Eli and Cruz but Pats are solid as hell all the way around and surely are looking for revenge. I'll look for a good prop job; they have been really working for me.
