This track doesn't have enough horses to be able to add a Friday card - small fields and plenty of maiden races, BLAH!
Still, this track also has a tendency of getting the longest shot home in front in it's small fields races more-than-luck-would-have-it. Was hoping to catch a race or two of this happening today and, as it turned out, my new capping style picked some high priced horses today.
4th race: gonna dabble with just a couple of tri bets and a zacta play for starters; small bets.
2/3,5/3,5 and 3/2,5/2,5. Zachs are 4<->2,3. Gives me a shot at a trifecta and backs them up with zactas that can do as well.
5th race: 6(decent longshot here) top/bot in zacktas with 1,2,3.
7th race: Just a few xacktas, no. 6 top/bot with 1,2. OF COURSE, double up with the 2<->6 jobbie.
8th race: No. 3 looks verly interlesting. This 3 y.o. by Fusaichi Pegasus (Hogman should like that) ran vs. MSWs in N.Y. Yeah, he was terrible in those but showed a bit of early speed at Penn. (Yuck) last time out, has the right jockey today, and, with a decent start (he has trouble getting going early), I think he can make some noise in this race today. Doubt he'll get bet much either.
