No. 9, Estrada's Girl (currently 14 to 1)... can do. Highly likely to hit the board if she doesn't win.
Still 5 mins to post.

EDITED: Nos. 1 and 5 are L@@KERS. I'm playing no. 5 on the side. 3 to 4 mins. to post time.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE

That no. 9 usually runs very well early and comes up short in the stretch run; today she got out last down the backstretch and stayed that way for most of the dang wace

Posted the play sooner than I usually do when the race is within 5 mins so I hope nobody played along. Hell, nobody is even interested in hoss wacin no matter when ya post .. LOL.

I should mention that Estrada did pretty good in the past on it's previous TURF races, too.

Won't go into details, but an earlier trifecta is keeping me on the plus side so far today. IF there is some MJers (the ones with keyboards) here tomorrow, I'll try to post all the plays well before the races start. A late night party (Anniversary) at a fancy hotel last night put me behind schedule today. I'm bushed right now.

9th race is not a playable race today:(
"Lookers" hurt me yesterday in the last race, so maybe I'll just stop while I'm ahead.

On to some tennis action :0053

Ok, "I didn't fail in the stretch with the Mrs."

Pretty sure I wrote FANCY Hotel. That would cramp my style... .. it was a good friend's anniversary party.

Have a good one, Hammy.

Maybe Hammy or DT will pop in.....

Maybe Hammy or DT will pop in.....

so I'll just post Tues. here.

Did really good with the first playable race today, no. 7 in the 7th. JUST MAYBE just ONE mo good thing may happen. The 8th and the 9th are the other two playables for today.

No. 2 entree (either one) looks best in the 8th, but 4/5 doesn't . That either means zactas or just some way to play the 5,6, or 7. Each of these is pricey.

G.L.

OH NO... (how to make friends and influence MJers)

OH NO... (how to make friends and influence MJers)

You know I usually play a bunch of zactas, right? Well, I DID. EARLY this morning - I wrote down my using exacta type play using the horse I LIKED (rated 3rd) with a bunch (below) in exactas type thingies... and I put that in EARLY this morning. After watching them come out... I went with quite a few more like I posted.

Bottom line is.... this race is one of them "YELL OH" calls the announcer make after a HUGE Philly style bomber does it's thang...

Bettors with bigger balls collected $510.20 on the bonanza zackta with regular $2 bets. I'm satisfied though :)

Put that in this morning.. and now the no.3 is sqwatched... that's ok.

Also, gots 1,4 exacta boxed.

Personally, I like no. 4 and may do a w/p on that one right now.

Oh well

Oh well

The no. 7 got in the way; result was 2x-7-4

Zuppa was 2-7-4-9, not that it matters.

Some kinda week at good ole Philly this week. Bankaroo is overflowing; BTW... I still "betted" 1 stinkin dollar zacks in this last race. Ya gotta just chip away at them dirt bombs and hope for a BIG chunck of the rock to land in your bankaroo from time to time.

Next up --------->Wimbledon... kurby ........ .......

Thanks for the reminder

Thanks for the reminder

Ya know, I didn't even realize that it was Tuesday. It's really something that - If I'm gonna make a big score at Philly it's going to be on a Tuesday. Funny thing is that I put those exactas in very early (way before the gates to the race track itself opened) and didn't realize the odds on those two horses UNTIL THE RACE WAS OVER. When I looked at the odds board, I was shocked. Couldn't believe BOTH of them were 20+ to 1. That no. 5 was REAL value; shouldn't have gone off anywhere near those odds.

My advice is to never fear the odds on any horse you bet at this wace twack, Hammy. Some folks wouldn't dare play a 50/1 shot or a horse that has a morning line greater than 20/1. DON'T look for them, but if one comes to you PLAY IT. Dirt bombs are not as predictable as solid race horses and this track's oddsmaker is a joke.

I rarely find one, but I remember hitting THREE 45 to one or better shots over the past few years at Philly. AND... I'll never forget the one that won by an open length and got taken down by the stewards. Did that ever suck! :mj02:

Appreciate the Kudos, Hammy.

In a race that honors the men and women that protect our country, the Long Beach Island Freedomfest 5k?s registration opens at 8 a.m. just outside of Bayview Park in Harvey Cedars, NJ. The race begins at 9:30 a.m. and aside from the typical awards (top finishers in each age group), this race awards the person who wears the most patriotic outfit.

Reply (and then some stuff)

Reply (and then some stuff)

Hmmm...Errr... . . Ah..... Thanks for the BUMP, Steffi ( I think? :mj03: )

Since I do like to reply to anybody who writes back in my threads... I gotta take back something I wrote earlier so a SPECIAL thanks for allowing me to do that here. :)

I think all the hits I get from the "guests" are because thems like the stories and couldn't care less about hoss wacin. Got a feeling that thems don't know OR CARE where a horse's ass ends and the tail starts. Sooo, in keeping with that, here goes (AND.. this is the last time I'm gonna write about that Philly bonanza I nailed on Lucky Tue$.) PROMISE

Can You Believe This Dept
YESTERDAY, I kept wondering why my bankaroo was so high so I checked the report that TwinSpires offers for folks that use that site. When they put the report of your wagers on the screen they only show the last 5 (?) of your bets and the bottom line did show my winning exacta bet and the results. The 5th line (below) was as far as I saw. BUT, there is a link at the bottom of the page that says something like "show ALL betting results" and I didn't bother with that.

Yesterday, I did click on the "Report ALL Bets" link and guess what -> my 6th (line) bet, it was ANOTHER exacta bet that I added that also used the no. 5 hoss in exactas. BTW, the "time of day" they report must be the time they calculated my bet results and NOT the time of day I put that second bet in cause I put one of those bets in AFTER I watched the prerace stuff and that no. 5 was a LOOKER in addition to being the one I liked almost as much as the big favorite in that wace.

Soooo.... just to set the record straight, forget the "Bettors with bigger balls..." line. :mj07:

That "($2.00)" at the end of lines 1,2,3 is scwatch money refunded.

Recently, I wrote something in this forum about my records telling me that I should bet trifectas. :chairshot

(for the "guests")
This reminds me about the time ( a LONG ways back) I checked out Atlantic City casinos. It was during their first year of operation. I don't care for casino gambling LIVE or online, but if I do stop in a live one, craps is the game I like. So... I go to the craps table and at one point I put 3 or 4 stinkin $1chips on the field bet in addition to my Pass line bet. I was by myself and probably a little nervous being a newbie to the world of casino gambling, but not to playing craps. The Pass Line bet loses and I continue playing. About 7 or 8 rolls of the "bones" later, I see a tall stack of stinkin 1$ chips that was well over a foot high sitting on the Field bet. The dang thang could barely stand up it was so high. Hmmm... I looked at the Pitt Bossman and asked," Ah, is that mine?

He just shook his head in disgust, clearly thinking to himself,"Can you believe this DUMB ASS is actually winning money with this game?". Yeah, I forgot about that earlier Field bet and a long string of field nos. were rolled right after I placed that Field bet.

What did I do? Made one quick scoop of that "Leaning Tower of Pizza" of dollar chips before the next shooter rolled. That's what I did. :)

"See yas" at good ole Philly again.
