Looks like the Philly players look for something on Mondays and Tue$days but I have time to post these for today; so I'll give it a go...

3rd race: Think these plays will cover all the bases and have the potential for a decent payoff as well. Takes $28 to makem...
Trifectas: 5/1,4,6/1,4,6 and 1,4,6/5/1,4,6 AND zacks, 4,5 top/bot 3,7
Just looking for one hoss? Well, no. 5 is the top rated one according to my nos.
A longshot? Hmmm, that would be no. 7. And NEVA play a longshot just cause it's a longshot; the hoss has to FIGURE or at least have some real value, considering it's odds.

4th race: Wasted time with this one. If ya gotta play something, I suggest using the :00011 method of handicapping for this one. Doubt I'll play this race but here's how they got rated anyways... 2-5-4, No. 2, Suivez Moi (SAy WHA?) is a good one but I don't like the short layoff. If she looks good I may do somthing.

6th race: I think there's some value with the nos. 7 and 8. Putting them with the two figure horses.....
Zacktas: 2,9 top/bot 7,8. Also side straight bets on the nos. 7 and 8.

8th race: Like this race and NOT because it's EZ to pick a winnah, but it's just a good race. Got it narrowed down to 2 horses, nos. 4 and 6. No.7 got a high rating and I believe a beaten favorite is a GOOD thing. BUT, not when it happens too often as in the case with no. 7, Majestic Hope. It's last two races look good on paper but they're telling me that there are some serious troubles with this horse. I'll be on good ole zacktas again.. . . 4,6 top/bot 3,8. I may also go with the no. 4 or 6 to win if the odds are good enough. I'm afraid they may get bet down a bit.

Have a good weekend.

You're welcome, Hammy. So far, the fro.. er, PROGS are really jumping. :0053

BTW, I don't mind REAL players, like YOU, adding your picks in this thread. Remember, "when E.F. Hutton talks, PLAYERS LISTEN". lol

Actually, the way I see it, the ONLY owner of EVERYthing around here is MJ.

Starting your own thread is cool too. I'm heading your way now to see what you gots picked for today at "beautiful" Philly.

Good luck, H.

:s2: : Sheesh, I saw your "Philly pick" thread and thought it was for today. It was for LAST week.

Dang it, too many hosses and basketballers running around in my head.

6th race was 9-1-8; no excuses for this one.
No. 8 didn't git going early enough to hit the zack.

edited - BTW, no way I go home a losah today cause I caught a "L@@KER" in the 5th race. I didn't post it cause there were 3 lookers in that race AND I was running out of time. Eaoh one of them had VERY nice odds. Whenever there's multiple lookers and ALL are prices... the thing I do is just play all the bastages to WIN. Paid off with that $19 wiener.

Just stuff

Just stuff

"4 Looks good to me :) "

Not any more.
Went a little on the heavy side on this one also.

Dead wrong about that "Majestic" hoss. Races/horses like this one make you realize this is GAMBLIN. That hoss lost all his prev. early speed in it's last two races, couldn't even get 2nd in those two race in race times that he should have easily overcome. Just don't get it.

Maybe they were looking for a price ? HOPE NOT. Whatever the case, they got it today. Hoss was a REAL money burner in the past.

Oh well, 9th is playable today anyways.

Just sharing some thoughts that may be of interest.

Orm, jockey on Ruebens, been doing pretty good lately. Good pt.

Trainer, Abrams - generally stay away from this trainer.

Hoss: "Deduct pts. for hoses that have been "messing around" with Penn (you know, running races there). Ruebens used to be pretty good at Philly, but he lost his edge quite awhile ago.

I had this race rated 6-5-1A. Nailed the exacta mostly cause - I think the no. 1 was spoused to be the better horse in the entry, but I had the 1A rated WAY better than the no. 1. Could kick myself for not playing that 1A on the side, even just to win only, would been good enough. Note that the 1A was entered instead AND ESP. note the owner, Silver Trails, AND trainer - R. Preciado (can do). Moves like that from connections like that usually means a tornado may be coming your way, Hammy... . .
