Actually played two races last Sat., lost one and won a decent exacta in the other so I'll give it a go this Sat.
5th Race
Unfortunately, I got two horses that will prob. get bet down as my picks for this race - nos. 9 and 11. Good, but different reasons for each getting the nod. Think the no. 11 may be the better of the two, but makes no difference the way I'm gonna play this one...
Trifectas 9,11/2,5/1,2,3,5,11 (yeah, just like that)
Exactas 9,11 top/bot with 1,5
Ba, ba, BUT.. there is a horse that I just cannot pass up at her 20-1 odds in this race that just might upset the ole apple cart. It's no. 5, Adelicate Miss. Gotta get a little Win/Place on this one too. Maybe even a little more than "just a little".
6th Race
Just playing a lot of stuff for this one so no comments....
Tri box 1-3-6
(more than just lucky nos. They all look good, really)
Zactas 2 top/bot with 6,9 (small tickets)
mo Zactas - 9 top/bot with 1,3,6 (a little bigger tkts)
7th race
I was salivating as I was going over the field for this race. Ya know like spit coming outa yer mouth without ya trying. Then I came to the favorite AND the second favorite, the nos. 2 and 7. Dried up right away! Both look too good and there's also a good N.Y. shipper (no. 9) that is looking for an easy win vs. the Philly dirtbombs in this one too. Hard to say, but I think he's gonna head back to the Big Apple with his tail between his legs.
Ain't making a move yet cause those 3 look too good for the rest. IF I DO, I gotta hope for some Philly poo poo that could light up the board with one of these and it's going to take some luck to make it happen.
The poo poos are the 4, Major Minor @ 20-1 and the 5, Indy Spell @ 15-1. That would make the play 4,5 t/b with 2,7,9.
