Getting tired of seeing my name plastered everywhere so I'll just put 3 days worth of plicks in this thread, IF I DO POST FOR EACH OF THEOSE DAYS. I sure hope Monday's and Tue$ card look better than today's. Only 2 "Playable" races for today. But....

Race 3: This race is NOT marked as "playable" but I'm am gonna take a shot with it. "Magic" nos. look good in this race, so -> Trifecta box 1-3-6 and backup play is no. 2 top/bot with 1,6. (2<-->6 are the magic exacta nos.for ANY race and 1<-->2 are for route races).

Race 6: If somebody told me yesterday that I'd be on a FIVE YEAR OLD MAIDEN in a NON-PLAYABLE wace today, I'd think they're nuts. Well no. 7 is just that and I already put this one in for today, across the board style bet with extra on the SHOW part. This $195K purchase is a disgrace to Tiznow and must have some pretty sick ownners. There's 3 races in it's pp's that this gelding ran well enough to put away the DIRT BAGS he's facing today and it's last two races show that this one is starting to close races pretty good. Hedus can train em. Jockey, Hampshire is another story, but I've seen him do some good riding in the past and don't see any reason for him to totally forget how it's done. The 8/1 M.L. woudl suit me just fine, but we do know about this track's oddsmaker.

OK, now for some Playables...

7th race: Would love to play more trifectas (I wrote about this before), but not enough confidence in this race to risk the amount of $ it takes to play tri combinations. Soooo.... exactas, 5,7 top/bot 3,6. Side order is no. 6 W/Pl/Sh at 3 x. BTW, the no. 6 is that Midnight Tryist hoss I wrote about recently. I liked, posted, and played this one last week and, despite that he couldn't close out his race in front as usual - he looked VERY good until he got about 1/8th of the way down the Blvd. of Broken Dreams. Shortens up (that's "shorten up" bit is usually a sucker angle but I do like what I saw of him in his last race) today and just might be able to hang onto the anchor long enough to git dat cash today.

8th race: Similar situation for this race asfaras Trifectas go. I think nos. 8 and or 9 plus a little bit of luck could make the exacta pay quite well, soo... 8,9 t/b 1,2,3 which are the 3 top rated plicks in this race.

Non Playables results

Non Playables results

Maybe a little "magic" IS in the air today :)

That's what it takes to catch a decent zacta ($54.20) in a 6 horse race. And hitting a whopping $2.20 Show hoss in the 6th serves as a good reminder to "Think twice before straying away from betting playable races, only". LOL.

Hope you're working on the Belmont for us, Hamster. Good luck whatever you're up to these days.

BTW, I might as well post a "L@@KER Report" for the 7th while I'm here. Nos. 3 and 7 qualify as "L@@KERs".
2 mins. to post.

Edited this to fix that "Think twice... " sentence, it was screwed up.

First playable result

First playable result

Zacta was 5/3 and paid $12.80 ..... SHEEET. No. 3 went off at 7/1.
"Sweep the field" today if I can catch this last race of the day. :scared:

Don't know if you're still around, Hammy.... gotta check out the prerace stuff for the 8th.

8th race

Those two plicks, nos. 8 and 9 don't look so hot in the prerace for the 8th :(

I'm not gonna cancel the bets (no big tickets anyway) and leave in the plays as posted.

Final

Final

(if ya like other sports.. check out the bottom of this post in red)

Struck out in the last wace. That there no. 6 paid $5.60 to Show; I just had the Win on it for TWO STINKIN bucks LOL.

Another fluke winning day.... NON Playable makes it happen. Anything goes in this game. Definitely NOT gonna get too tempted with playing NON Playables. :nono:

Next up? ... . WEEKDAY wacin at Philly. Bring em on

If I see any participating MJers around, I'll be posting plays.

BTW, I haven't seen a Tennis play that I have on my "Hit IT" list. The match is GULBIS vs. Federer? Hope they didn't play yet. I like the EXPECTED dog in that one, Gulbis. These kinda plays get MUCH more than 2 STINKIN bucks.

EDITED
(maybe Hamster is a little interested in tennis? .. :) )
SURE ENOUGH, I see that Gulbis won that match (+180 or +185) Damn, damn, damn... I looked every EARlY morning for that match and didn't see the dang thang. FLUCK. I was prob. half asleep. Really disgusted. Anyway, here's my next dog and it's a bigger one.. Sloane Stevens, odds are +320, AND i'M ALREADY ON THIS ONE and THERE'S PLENTY OF HOURS BEFORE THIS MATCH STARTS. Still, Gulbis was the best bet of this tourney so far, UGH!

BTW, Dimes also offers Stevens at +5 1/2 games at -155 and that is tempting as anything you can think of.

MONDAY

MONDAY

Right off the bat - I gots very little confidence in today's picks. Didn't rush through the handicapping or anything like that... just that the races today are just too tough to call. Posting these mostly because I don't wanna come back here and tellyas I "cleaned up" today without posting them. And because I did spend plenty of time TRYING to find somethng and might as well take a shot since Lady Luck has been good to me lately. Also, races like these have the potential for producing plenty of those nice Philly phunny bucks.

Only 3 playables today and the picks are mostly based on my ratings and not much of anythng else....

4th race: 2,7 top/bot 9,10

6th race: 1,8 top/bot 2,4

8th race: 2 top/bot 5,7,9

Trifectas? NO WAY to day, Jose'

That's it and Good Luck.

8th race result

8th race result

Well, no. 2 held up his end but not the others. Close for 2nd with no. 5 finishing 3rd but who cares the no. 2 won (7/2 M.L.) won at 2/1 and the no. 5 (5/1 M.L.) placed at 3 to 1.

Lookers? ... two were right up there most of the way, no. 8 kept it's lead coming out of the last turn, but just like a lot of the L@@KERs, both came equippd with anchors.

Some things never change - Mooch rules at Philly just like Rafa Rules in Paris.

Guess what?

Guess what?

No. 3, "First of May" :)( ) is a L@@KER at 43 to 1 right now. If the bankaroo wasn't OVERfilled I wouldn't bet a cent on this nag. BUT, since it's still overflowing ... I gots 4 STINKIN dollars to get spread between Win/Place on this dirt bag.

Faget about it.

Faget about it.

Primero is still running and the 6 ain't that far in front of him; went off at 99 to 1. A 4/5 shot wins the race.

If I didn't think that Lady Luck was on my side and carried a smaller money bag in my hands, I think today woulda been one of those days I'd rather watch the grass grow insted of playing around with Philly. REALLY! Terrible card. Betting with peanut SHELLS (about half of the zacks were the ONE stinkin dollar variety, :s2: ) and that was a great move ESPECIALLY after watching FAVORITE dirt bags winning today.

Let's see...ah, "What time is it?", remember that dirt bag?

IT"S THE DAY BEFORE TUE$. :0053

TUESDAY :)

TUESDAY :)

OK, card looks very good today. Im running late today so Here's best bet so far (still got a ways to go yet)

5th race: Ratings "say" that no. 2 crushes this field. I like it's second rated pick, no. 5 and I do like this one a lot. I guess that means ya gotta pick between these two; Im gonna wheel one of them top/bot and play the other kinda heavy as a side, straight play. If the ratings didn't make no. 2 a "LOCK", I'd just go with the no. 5, but I can not ignore the fact that the rating is MUCH higher for no. 2 than all the ohters. No trifectas even though I got this race between only 2 horses because there's a big gap to get to the 3rd rated horse and ALL the others are too cloesly matched.

I gotta get going, other playables are the 4th, 6th, and 7th. HOPEFULLY, I'll be back, at least to catch the 7th. Chime in if you're interested in me posting plays when I get back.

G.L.

Oh, Stevens covered the +5 1/2 thingy, but didn't win outright. She looked lethargic on the court and I got a feeling she had little confidence of beating Halep. You know , like I felt yesterday about being able to beat the Philly nags. Yeah, she covered by ONE HALF a stinkin game. Whew! :)

Update

Update

WE'RE clicking today, Hammy. :00hour. Very nice, ONE plikc -> One WIENER ($5.80) for the Hamster.
Hope we get a Wiener Report from DT soon too.

Well, I picked the right race to post... sure enough, the no. 2 was creaming the bums all the way, but after the anchor fell, no. 5 took over to top off a NICE exacta payer. Exacta paid $68,40 and I made the bestest move I've done in a long time... in addition to wheeling the no. 5, I DOUBLED up zactas with 5 <--> 2,4,7. That means 4 NOT so stinkin dollars on that zacta :0064

I'LL BE BACK,... no. 1A is pick in this 7th race with the way the rain is coming down. Hurrry up , 1 stinkin min to post.

I'm back

I'm back

OK, just watch no. 1A get second to a big favorite in that 7th race.

Other results...

4th race? Played a 2,7/2,3,4,7,8/2,4,5,7,8 in the 4th. And that's no typo either, NOTE that no. 3 is picked for 2nd place and NOT for 3.. ON PURPOSE TOO.
Result: 4-2-3 tri paid $65.60. Hmm... one of the WORSTEST moves I made in awhile. And get this... the exact ratings, in order, for this wace was.. 2-3-4. SOMB!

6th race: Caught the no. 10 in the side bet .. win/place bet.

chime in if you're still around, Hamster and I'll post lookers for the rest.

No sweat

No sweat

No. 5 is clearly the horse to beat,.... 6/5 odds and this one didn't look too good on the twack.
No. 1 looks a LITTLE better than the other on the twack... bottom line is this "Playable" wace is a NO PLAY

they just started to load... let's see what happens.

Prices ain't up yet.. no. 1 nips the 5 to pay off at 3/1. .

1A top/bot 3,5,7,9 for ONE STINKIN DOLLAR. That's cause there's no way I go home with under 3 figure PROFITS today. (ah, the first digit is a "1" :mj07: )

Even though nobody's around, I posted this so I could come back and do a little bragging. :)

still 2 or 3 mins. to post.
