Except in the 3rd Race where I had him on top w/the 1,4 & 5!!! BTW-Looking @ the Belmont entries & will post my pick that has the best chance too upset CC later this week. That said, I hope CC can do it....would be the BIGGEST sports story of the year & probably so far this century!!! :yup

DT, I'm not as excited over CC as you are, but I agree that it would make the front pages of ALL the Sport pages if he pulls it off. The way I see it, I've seen better ones than CC fail at pulling out the Triple Crown and that's why I'm not too anxious to see him do it. Actually, there's quite a few. I'm looking forward to see who you come up with.

Steffi, GREAT to see somebody who joined MJ's recently stop in the "Horse Palace". :) Thanks for your visit and Good Luck to you whatever you're up to.

The Belmont? Well, obviously this year's 3 yr. old crop got me pretty confused. There's is one race that I KNOW I'm well ahead of over all the times I've bet it and that is the Belmont Stakes. This year's edition is gonna really be a challenge though. The only predictability I've seen from those that qualify is that thems are gonna get their DRAWERS blown off by CC and I just don't believe he's a great one.

BTW, I thought the same about Secretariat... until AFTER betting against him in the Belmont. :chairshot I was pretty much a rookie at hoss wacin then.
Everytime he ran after that monster race, I just watched cause his odds were terrible. Then he ran on the turf for the first time and you better believe he faced some absolutely GREAT turf runners in a large field at Belmont (pretty sure it wasn't at the Big A) and I was at the track. I got all my Belmont money back and then some that day cause he paid something very close to $5 to Win. May have been $5.20; that was a long time ago.
