Went over these a LOT more carefully than yesterday's longshot searches and tried to cap these exactly how I played the 3 races I actually played yesterday. Here goes:
Race 2: Instead of commenting on the horses in this race, I'll comment the BETTING game plan for this race -
Zactas like I normally play them, 5,6 top/bot with 1A,8, also a 1A,8 exacta BOX. and a must play -> no. 4 (12-1) Win/Place@2x on the side.
Now, IF the 1A scratches then the plays are -5,6 top/bot w. 4,8, AND exactas, 4 top/bot with the 8,1 (remaining part of the entry). No side plays if the 1A gets scratched.
Race 3: No complicated stuff for this race - Exacta box, 3,5,7 and side plays ->3,6 to Win on each. BTW, both of these are at great odds.
Race 4: No. 4, All Around Fancy, 6-1 M.L. is the pick.
If I knew a little more about the two favorites and thought they both may run out of the exacta, I'd wheel the no. 4 top/bot. I go more by being familiar with the horese at this track even though yesterday proved that getting a little assistance from the pps ain't a bad idea sometimes. Looking at Fancy's last three races should make it a throw away, but two of them I excuse. I caught this one less than a year ago when it won a $47K allowance race and YES, Fancy was favored in that race. Yeah, there's no question that this years edition says she ain't the same horse BUT - $5K claimers? I DON'T SINK SO.
I got a few more but today is a big footsball day and it wouldn't surprise me if only the Peepers are just reading this and don't play hosses. I'll save the ink for now and see how these pan out. Chime in if you're interested in the later races; I should be able to make it to the puter before the late races.
Just a little football stuff
No big winnings on my college footsball action on Sat. Played 4 parlays and each of 3 of them had ONE stinkin losah, the other parlay had 2 losahs. AGAIN, the side bestest bet (bail out, single side play for much more moola) came through AGAIN. Something else - oh.. and it was the same team that bailed me out the other week - Kent St. Got VERY lucky cause I couldn't decide if the bailout special was Louisville or Kent St and took the right one. IF any of you wacin fans want me to post the football picks, I will in the CFB bawlroom.
