SHEEET.. ME AND 10 ROBOTS (that ain't gonna work).:0047.
Not even :00x7

Well, might as well write something about the "big" race today. the 8th. At first look, no. 7, jumps right off the pp's page and they'll prob. bet that one down from it's M.L. too. Yeah, she's beaten some of these and looks unbeatable, but, I'm seeing a few in this race that are much better than anything she's faced before. Even among those who she beat before, like say, no. 8 who had her in the cross-hairs in the stretch run every time, can use the extra distance today. Add that to the fact that she never went this far (distance) before and.. well, see where I'm going?

I'm gonna try to beat her in this race even though she gets Mooch on her back and she just MIGHT even be better than all of these. She just doesn't warrant the kind of odds I'm expecting her to go off at. Gotta see the others before finding the one (or two) than may be able to run her down today. Could be the no. 8 or maybe a another one... gotta see them.

I'm starting to find/nail them Philly BOMBERS lately (Sat. and yesterday, Sunday was a stinkeroo) and maybe this 8th race can give me another BOOMER. LOL

Silly to post to myself.. not even a ROBOT left.

But in this 6th race... nos. 6 and 8 could be the ONES. :)
Still 3 mins. to post.

Just missed the zack when the no. 8 lost the photo for place. The "BOMBER" hunt continues with the no. 1 in this 7th race, 18-1.

Dang, that no. 1 is a closer and Elliot had it right up there, looking good, hugging the rail. Really surprised that one backed up in the stretch. The BIG favorite ran out. BTW. there's a seriously wounded WHALE someplace today on account of this wace. There was an extra-HUGE bet (you know one of them "sure thang" Show plays) on the odds-on fav.

Wrap it up time

Wrap it up time

Philly's "bonus' payoffs really helped in the 8th race - no. 8 paid $6.60 to Show  .. had the no. 8 as a kinda heavy side play (5/5/15.. woulda been more but not gonna do that with a field that size and the big fav. to worry about).

and that last race exacta paid $51.80, WTF?? I was expecting the ole $20 and change thang.

How bout that triple?? ... Man, $903.40 for the tri. WOW! The fav. won the race, no. 3 figured, and no. 10 was 21 to 1 (not really humungous). NO, I didn't catch that tri, had 1-3-6 boxed for trifecta AND exacta cause magic has been working lately for me and those were CLEARLY rated as the top 3 hosses in that last race.

Nice thread about Saratoga, BTW. We made 2 ONE-DAY (Ugh) trips from mid. N.J. to that place on "nice" hot summer days too. One of them was in a friend's Volkswagen Beetle UGH ! . Yeah, glad I did get to experience that place in the good ole days of racing when the area was even more beautiful.. with the Cordero, Velasquez dudes doing the riding and less commercialism up that way. Didn't enjoy all them baby waces though :(

Decent "Philly week" this was; place started to act like itself with those nice zotic payoffs again and not so many crapola fav. wieners/zotics. Hope it continues.

Seeyas next week I hope.
