DANG! Wasn't gonna play this stinkin race even though that no. 6 was capped (tied for first with the 1A) AND was a LOOKER in the prerace. BUT, when I saw 11-1 (went off at 14-1) and there was a late scratch to make it a 5 hoss field.. I just started bombing away.
It MUST be Tuesday.

ONE lesson to be learned by that wace... bet the w/pl just fine ($5 each way), and the zactas were bet OK ($3 stinkin dollars on each ticket), BUT, that dang trifecta... ONE STINKIN DOLLAR tickets .. Son-Ah-Ma....
NOW, that I think about it.. your three hosses only had to beat two other horses. Yeah, sounds easier than it is.. but, "How easy is it to win ANY trifecta with bigger fields?". That was a mistake.. each little greenbacks brings back over a hundred.
OK.. here was my game plan for the 9, Hammy. Just delete the 11 who got scratched and that should really help these value (methinks) plays...
9th: This race is gonna cost ME/you(?)... even with minimum bet sizes. Depending on how I'm doing at this point, whether or not the no. 11 draws in, and how they look in the prerace... I may bet one of the options or ALL.
Options are:
zacks, 2.6 top/bottom with 3,4,10,11
box 2-6
no. 4 top/bot. 3,10,11
to win, only, each one -> 3,10,11
Betem in the right proportion and IF something clicks.. YOU CLICK!

Really liked the no. 6 and he's getting bet down 
With a good start, he moiders these... BUT, he must be VERY difficult to ride and almost ALWAYS gets off to a terrible start.
He looked good on the track (but that means nuthin with with a rough hoss to ride). no. 9 and 10 also look pretty good.

Was wrong about the "moiders" part; he did get off to a good start. Tues. LUCK prevailed though.. zacta paid higher with the 4 on top.
Payoff included a little bit of the normal "Philly bonus payoffs", $26.20. Looks like that race resulted with a wash. The scratch (no. 11) helped keep the bets down.

I was looking how they were in the paddock and post parade and felt that the 3, 5, 6 , 10, looked good in their conformations and alertness. Anyways, I put the 6 wp and used the 4 6 with 1346 in ex. Just trying to hone my visual skills on the body language of the horses.

Can you believe this.. I was just gonna write how I LOST the last race.. liked 4 and 5, both great odds. Played the 5 with 4 other hosses in zacks (t/b) and the no. 4 to WIN, only. NOW, I see the winner FLASHING (objection) and guess who finished 2nd.. the no. 4. Still blinking as I write this.

UGH.. they JUST disallowed the claim of foul.
NOW I CAN WRITE IT ->" lost some in the 10th".
Didn't make that many bets though cause I couldn't really finish capping that race. Kept the bet size small too because of that. Still, don't think I would been on that winner anyway.
BTW, when I was in a tailspin, strangely enough - the LOOKERS weren't working either for the most part. Today, they started to work again. Worked the other day as well.
Gonna change things a little.. the last race is usually a FULL field of betable hosses. From now on I'm gonna handicap that race first (if it looks good), been rushing the last race every day and that ain't a good thing.
Also, I'll TRY to post the lookers I see so you can see how you compare with my "L@@Kers".

I wasn't gonna write this cause every body may HATE me for it :nono: But, I'll just blame you for giving me the opportunity. LOL.
I didn't bother checking my balance after the last race on Tues cause I "lost" that race. LATE last night i thought I'd check it just to feel good about Tues. What do I see?? It's over a hundred and 50 dollars higher than when I checked it AFTER the 9th on Tuesday. :scared
With TTowers, you can check all the bets you made and that's what I did. WTF?? I played the no. 4 in the exactas (top/bot) in that last race NOT the no. 5 :0034 which I played Win/Place. And yeah, I had the no. 7 in the exacta cause I hadem marked as a decent "Looker" in the prerace in the 10th.
I was in such a rush, trying to get the last race bets in and to post (here) the results as soon as the race finished so I could wrap it up for the day. I STILL DON'T KNOW if I made the mistake of switching them when I betem or just got it bassackward when I posted my results here. ALL I do know is that I liked the 4 and the 5 (finished last, BTW) and the lookers were the 2,3,7(best of the 3).
Tellya, coming up with the right horse is important; but, LUCK plays one hell of a part of this game. I took a look at that chart for that short field race that was my REAL clean up for the day and I just can not believe it; the short chart looked unreal... only 5 stinken horses and 3 big (win/zack,tri) payoffs. Just unreal. And I had every intention of skipping that race until I saw the scratch and the odds on the horse I liked. I wrote this before, HM.. 6 does go with 7 in tries.
I should only play the ponies on TUESDAYS but I KNOW I won't be able to resist at least one of the other three days they run after Tuesday's results. SKIP plenty of races, Hogman, and keep the bets small (I KNOW you do that and that's usually a good thing).
