I handicap the same way everyday and it does take a lot of time to get the figures I use. What I'm going to change today is the way I postem mostly because I got all the capping done on the PLAYABLE races for today.

Chances are about 90% that I will be playing exactly what I'm posting below. The 10% comes into play if there may be a change because what I SEE in the pre-race stuff, like the post parade, etc. Yesterday was a good example of what can happen when I see a L@@KER. That is - I put a "√" column and a "x" column the checkmark means the hoss looks like a winner and an x means that hoss looks like a deadhead. Most of the hosses don't get either a √ or an "x" cause thems just look just like a horse .
YESTERDAY'S 9th race had only 3 horses in the √ column, 2,3,8. This doesn't happen often, but check out what yesterday's tri paid. AND.... .. NO I didn't hit that tri., I played my figure hosses and only used the 3 from the L@@KERs.

Ok, 5 of the races are "playables" today; let's see what happens:

1 stinkin dollar on tri. tickets, 2 stinkin dollars on exacta tickets. Win and/or Place are whatever you\I want.

5th race:
Zactas - 8,9 top/bot 2,5

6th race is quite interesting, I LUVED no. 7, Grit'n'Grind last week in a claiming $12.5k race and it got scratched by the STEWARDS not the VET. Today, this hoss gets enter in a $46k ALW. race, WOW, that's some move up. Gonna see what happens today with this one
Trifectas: 7/1,3,5/4,6 and 1,3,5/7/46 and 7/4,6/1,3,5 and 46/7/135.
maybe a side bet 1 and 7 to WIN.

L@@Ks like our VISITORS are having a good day SO FAR. We got the 6th trifecta with the favorite on top. How bout the Grit hoss who got off to a terrible, terrible start and still got 2nd. Tri paid only $59.80 and we gots half of that.

Sorry about not getting here for the 7th, hit the 7th trifecta as well; that one, 1-3-7, also with the fav. on top. paid That one paid even better, $136.40 (we.. er, ME) gots half of that).

I like the 6 and 7 in he 8th, 2mind to post. though.

Forget it... musta been 1 min to post cause they were off when I got done writing this. Doesn't matter it was 6,7 and BOTH were cheap favorites anyway.

OK, READY FOR THE 9TH, Visitors?? Guess what, I really like this race (UT OH! sometimes that ain't so good) AND there's at least 15 mins. to post.

No. 2 is now 9/2 which would be great is that lasts. I think those odds will drop by the time they're off. Here's what I'm playing as long as none of these is a DEADhead.

2,9 top/bot 5,6,8 and an additional exacta on 2 top/bot 5,6,8. Basically that mean those zacks are for 2 stinkin dollars.

So, I'm safe writing this LOL (<nobody sez that anymore, huh?)...

I betem just like I posted them BUT, also used a couple of side bets, remember side bets are GOOD THINGS. Thems were...

- an additional ONE stinkin dollar on an exacta box, 2<->9, make that combo. for 3 stinkin dollars. That side bet lost.

- 3 stinkin dollars on Win, only, nos. 5 and 9. That one verified that side bets ARE GOOD THANGS.

Ain't Philly a nice place, SOMETIMES.

If nobody checked the exotic payoffs for the 9th race - thems were Breeders Cup prices and the winning horse wasn't that hard to come up with, at least as a contender in that race.
