just got a recording from a number in Miami about a car warranty. said to press 1 for the car warranty or press 2 if we had cleared it up already. I hung up phone.


What do you think they really wanted?

On my vehicle? That makes sense because its been 3 years since we bought the wifes Expedition. Maybe it wasnt a crank call after all.

These keep coming in on my cellphone. I get extended warranty offers in the mail too which is a little strange since the car isn't even 2 years old and has a 100,000 mile warranty!:shrug:

Thats funny I was over my sisters house last Thursday the phone rang she checked the caller ID and she goes I dont know anybody in California and then the same message came up about the car warranty sounds like a possible scam attempt.

several years ago i did some research on extended warranties for cars. the one thing i learned is; if you get one, ONLY get it from the original manufacturer of your vehicle. there are a shitload of extended warranty scams going on out here.
