1. Dirty air filter ($100 deductible June 2011)
2. Condenser fan ($275 August 2011 - wife couldn't wait for insurance)
3. Capacitor ($100 deductible September 2011)
Had to call service guy each time because I was/am an idiot. Moved in last summer. Old unit was working fine before the move. Been running okay since last September.

Here's my prediction.....
They say they called the Rheem dealership and they all are out of the motor. 4th is Wed. Ship to Knoxville Thursday or Friday and then maybe have A/C by Saturday.

I have one on standby in the shed. I can get in a window in 10 min. I can run it off my AC generator :shrug:
Problem is, if it's that hot, aren'tmost places out of window units! well then again that's down south where everyone has one. Up here people get em when it turns 70, 80 they start complaining, and 90's and everyone starts losing there mind, can't find an air conditioner or fan for 150 miles. I'll take 90s over freezing any day
