Part of the ball crossed the front of the goal line, the play is over at that point and it's a TD.

I know all the haters will have a differnt opinion , but it was the right call.

I'm just glad that damn bug will be gone, stand behind your word Jack, kill Sponge!

there you go

how can the vaunted Ravens defense, at home, not hold Pitt from charging down the field and winning the game at the end.

Although we are in disagreement on the call, I am by no means a hater of Pitt. I am a very fond of Big Ben and Tomlin.

Really? You can have them. Tomlin is mildy retarded and Roethlisberger is a brick.

If they don't reverse the call and it goes to 4th and inches I think Tomlin has no clue of the situation and goes for it agianst the best home defense in the league.

If that game goes to OT there is a real chance it ends in a tie which is much better for Pittsburgh than Baltimore as far as winning the division. I think dipshit would have gone for it.

Yea, how about the call to spike the ball on 1st down with 55 seconds remaining? Classic. Ben holds the ball way too long IMO, that is until the fourth quarter. Plus why does he insist on the running the play clock down to 0 everytime to allow the defense to know what is going on?

I can't disagree with you. Fyi, my reason for being fond of Big Ben involves him being a fan of the LSU football program.

I like Tomlin because of how tough he came off during an interview early this season. He may be dumb as a game manager, but I'll take tough any day. Football is not for braniac pansies imo.

Yea without a doubt the defense helps, and the steelers get in trouble when Ben throws it too often. But as you can see with the Ravens (and the problems they have), its much better to have a qb who can make a play when the game is on the line.

it was a good game. i'm disappointed, as you can imagine, but i'll get over it and i have a bigger problem occupying my mind right now.

That is fine with me too. Tough game and call at the end. Hard to believe Pittsburgh went down the field like that after doing nothing all game. Baltimore is in must win mode now with Dallas looming next. I will shoot you an email in the morning with my address or perhaps you already have it. Thanks.
