they dont nearly the credit they deserve. rodriguez is a terrific coach. and their spread option offense is almost impossible to stop. they will be very, very good next year and beyond.

I chuckle at the discussion of the Texas game - UT probably played one of their 3 worst games of the year that night and still pulled it out. For such a good 3 point shooting team, they sure seem to struggle at the line when it counts.

Yeah, UT won by won pt when what looked like a shooting foul wasn't called at the buzzer. You can use your subjective "Texas played one of their worst three games" if you want, but I'd venture to say they'd play UT tough nine times out of 10.

who in the world is talking about the mac? the mac was TERRIBLE this year. if there werent specific tie-ins, a mac team wouldnt even have gone to a bowl because there wasnt a deserving team. my lord, west virginia would have manhandled every team in the mac this year.

GMan it is like whenever I post something the response half the time is "but the Big 12 sucks." It is of course irrelevant and I dont care, as I dont tout the Big 12 as good I tout it as knowing it.

So you questioning Pitt or WVa gets the "but the MAC sucks" response - I guess - I lost my eyesight trying to read the post. Folks get too busy with their homerisms to have objective discussions, and act as if the team is their favorite child that noone can say anything about. I wouldnt fret over it.

Fletcher may well be a good capper, but he is the one going over the edge here for no reason.

i enjoy the back and forth. i know where youre coming from with your opinion. and i can respect that. i think a lot of people just take saying that someone is overrated to mean that theyre not a good team or that i dont respect them, which isnt the case at all. i just dont buy into them as a top 10 team. a top 15 or 20 team would be more representative. but if youre a top 10 team, that means the flaws you have are minimal. wvu's, at times, can be glaring. that doesnt mean they can't beat anyone on any night. but it means they are going to have to play a clean game every time they take the floor.
