If the motherfucking Cardinals win another World Series, I am going to puke. So fucking sick of them. As a Royals/Cubs fan, it really sticks in my craw. They are like the Yankees without the charisma.

No way they beat the Red Sox, but I'm going to guess you aren't a big Boston fan either.

I actually love Boston. How can anyone not love the Yankees archrival? Plus, they play in the second-coolest stadium in MLB. And I have learned the hard way never to say no way about the Cardinals. As much as it pains me, I think I'll be taking them no matter who they play.

I'm dying to see Wrigley - hope the proposed changes don't take a lot away from its original character.

Nice call on the Cards. I think they take Boston as well, it just feels the same as when they won it all in 2011.

Think you were the only one on here on the Cards. No way I can pull for St Louis so I wont bet on them. The Red Sox have a fun, eccentric cast of characters vs. stone faced, boring Cardinals. Going for the Bearded ones (asssuming they get there!!).

Sorry Hashish-being a Cards fan-had to give you a little dig! Yes, I spent 20 + years in Chicago and love that city. I saw 100's of games at Wrigley and had a blast. I had more fun than I should have, lol! However, growing up, in downstate Illinois, I rooted for the Birds. I have never changed my allegiance. I have been blessed to have been to 5 World Series. I've been lucky that , for the most part, they have been competitive during my lifetime. Yes, it's a great rivalry-doesn't get the East coast pub (Sox vs Yanks) but to us Midwesterners, just as important. The Cubs are down now but things have a way of turning around. The Cubs played us as tough as anyone during the 2013 season-just goes to show ya!

No worries, mate. I have plenty of friends who are Cards fans. It is getting a little old having the Redbirds dominate the Central, but I don't begrudge you your enjoyment of your team's success. I'll probably root for your guys if the Tigers can manage to come back, but I'll probably be betting on the Cards regardless.

LOL...I used to love watching this guy paint on TV on Sundays...I believe he died of AIDS several years ago. He used to make me laugh with some of the things he would say.

It was lymphoma. He was a wonderful human being. I always loved watching The Joy of Painting whenever I was stressed. His soothing personality could mellow anyone about.
