nflx......................8-8.......+5.80*
regular season.......14-11....+20.82*

had a very good week last week in both college & pros.....& hope to keep it going.....

4*giants-3(132).....

this is a good spot for giants against wash. ny is coming off a bye week where they were able to regroup after playing 3 brutal games (loss to indy, win over phil.,& a loss to seattle) & then after this game the next 2 games are at dallas & atlanta.so i think they will be ready for this home game.

on the other hand wash.is coming off their come from behind ot win last week against jax. & may be a little drained for this game.

neither team's defense is playing up to expectations. but the giants defense usually plays a lot better at home than on the road as we saw against indy on opening night. wash.'s defense, especially in the 2ndary is also not playing up to expectations....they are playing without their best corner (springs) & rank # 26 in the league in pass defense....they have allowed 8 td passes against 2 picks so far this year. their d is also allowing 145 yds. a game on the ground.

here is system that supports this play & is based on wash.having a let down this week after their all out effort last week....it states...

since week 14 1998 the league is 0-20 ats on the road when they beat a non-divisional opponent as a dog of less than 10 points, at home last week, despite the fact that they were trailing at the half.

good luck.

Washington was behind at haltime .Then took the lead in the 3rd qtr of the game.
Jax came back in the late 4th qtr to force OT.

I'm a huge Skins fan. IMO no let down here
Seems like Saunders playbook is coming around
NYG Def. is weaker then expected. IMO Moss
& Portis will have sucess.

NY Giants will have sucess also on Off. Should be a high scoring game

GL to you

hey AR, didn't you have some sort of trend against teams that played on the east coast one game and then play on the west coast the next?

granted the two teams it would apply to are playing back in their proper time zones this week. They would be cleveland and san diego.

Cle @ oak last week and SD @ Balt. last week

I think that there is probably one piece I am missing, something like if an East Coast team plays on the West Coast one week and then in the Central time zone the next week, then play against them.

I don't know, you are like the king of those crazy trends that I never seem to find and you post some pretty credible numbers to back those individual trends up. I figured I'd ask

AR you think Jeak has a chance of being pissed off Monday when the Ravens get it handed to them by the Broncos?

What's up AR? Just read NYG has the leagues worst record after the bye since it was implemented ( 3-14 ) and that included 2 GMs, 3 HCs and 100s of players.
Something I caught on the parlay cards I get.

On a TIES WIN card, the Skins,Cards and Ravens all are getting 4 pts.

On a 1/2 pt. card, the Cards and Ravens are getting 3.5 pts. Why do you think they're giving the Skins 4.5 pts?

dead prez...

this is the first time i am reading what you posted...there is a strong trend that the teams from the west don't do well at 1pm games....i saw the record last week on another site but forgot where i saw it...if i come across it again i will defintely post it...however i don't know of any trend where an eastern team travel west..

franky i don't pay attention to what he says..so i didn't know that...

gw...i'm finding if i narrow my picks in the nfl i tend to do better....i may have to go to that strategy in college since i'm not doing as well there than the last 2 years.

good luck.

thanks gw...appreciate it. but you & jack won't like who i'm taking tonight.....

denver-4....

i got this a few days ago but am sorry that i didn't grab it when it was 3.5....

i think this is a good spot for denver, coming off a bye.they are 8-3 ats in their last 11 coming off a bye, while balt. is 1-9 ats in their last 10 times as a road dog of 7 or less. a few weeks ago balt. beat cleve. on the road & that broke balt's. 11 game losing streak on the road.

i'm not convinced yet that balt. is as good as they seem, especially on offense.looking at balt's. rushing attack this year, jamal lewis & the running game have averaged 3.7 ypc, but that was against tb, oak.,& cleve. when balt. played s.d.they averaged 2.3 ypc. and since i rate denver's defense as as good as s.d'd defense, i see balt.having a lot of 3 & outs, which means that their defense will be on the field alot. and since denver is primarily a running team i think will wear the balt's. defense down.

balt's defensive strength is rushing the passer (they lead the league with 17 sacks), but that stength should be limited somewhat by the fact that denver rushes the ball more times than they throw it. only atlanta, k.c, & s.d. run the ball more often than denver.

a sytem that i read about applies to this game.....

since 1989, the nfl is 25-0 ats at home when they averaged 30+ rushes per game year to date as long as they are not laying 7 points or more & both teams are over.500..

good luck.
