I like today's card even better than yesterday's, but not as good as I felt after yesterday's 9th. :00hour

Just in case some reader does play along with the picks, here's the early races I like:

2nd race:
tri box 1-3-6 (you know about them nos. :?;) ) Also zacks, 1,5 OVER 1,3,6

3rd race:
tri box 1-3-6 ;) yeah, again Also, 1,2 top/bot 6,7.

4th race: zacks 1,7 top/bot 3,5. Also, side bet nos. 1,3 to WIN, only. More than 2 stinkin dollar on the win bets.

Best long shot pick I've seen in awhile in the 6th. I won't be posting that to myself, but if there is somebody interested and I'll do my best to stop in here and post it AFTER I see how those horses look for that race. That means I gotta rush a little so I'll prob. post it with something like 2 or 3 mins. to post. Incidentally, when Philly was on vacation I played Woodbine. What a pleasure playing that track, the way they present their races. You see the horses 3 times in the pre race and PLENTY of time to make a bet even after the third time you checked them out. You could post something here with plenty of minutes to spare with no problems or rushing. Good commentators also. Lastly, most of their horses L@@K alive; most Philly horses come to the paddock dragging ass. Not enough bombers, loaded with green backs at Woodbine, like Philly has though.

G.L.

So far, ONE Philly payoff ZACTA in the (magic nos. too) in the 2nd race.
Had plays written down for the 5th but didn't play a thing, don't want odds on horses.

I may not have any friends left :(

I may not have any friends left :(

Better late (REALLY) than never as far as posting the horse I thought would be the Long Shot of the day. That would be no. 4 in that 6th race.

Sounds like an excuse, but I post what I see and Rosado pulled that horse up right after they entered the backstretch and THERE WAS NO REASON AT ALL for doing that. He also pulled that horse out 3 wide with nobody in front of it afterwards and again, for no reason that I could see.

Not saying anything fishy goin on, but I think he was afraid to let Grit compete in that race. Maybe he felt something wrong with the horse?

Whatever the case, my zackta winnings are now gone and it's on to the later races. Hmm.. like, maybe the 9th?

edited: just notice no 9th race today

Where's that violin?

Where's that violin?

I'm not going to mention which hoss I was on in the 8th, last race of the day.

IF anybody can watch the reply - YOU'L KNOW WHICH ONE it was. Even the race caller, Jones, commented on the finish in this race. I, sure as hell commented x05:

I had the place for a reasonable amount and at 9/1, it paid pretty good, but that won't cover the other bets.

G.L. with them footsbawlers.

this is what the race summary read for the 6th race

this is what the race summary read for the 6th race

It downloads as a PDF file and those don't allow you to cut n copy any of the text so I just wrote EXACTLY what was written in notepad. You can find these official race summaries in the Equibase.com page. Look unde Results - Full Charts.

Again, the horse steadied (pulled up for an instant) FOR NO APPARENT REASON, AND it wasn't forced wide at all, jockey just tugged/pulled him wide and STAYED wide. Maybe there is something wrong with the horse?

Exact statement:
"GritNGrind steadied and went very wide on the first turn, remained wide and never threatened.".
