On the Road TY, VERLANDER has a 3.21 ERA 1.00 WHIP .217 BAA

At Home TY, MASTERSON has a 2.62 ERA 1.19 WHIP .217 BAA

Pretty close numbers

I am so skeptical of the Tigers after watching the game on Wednesday .. they almost HAVE TO have a BIG INNING the way they play station to station baseball.

Remember .. the TIGERS had won 10 meetings in a row vs the INDIANS until CLEVELAND won the last two games .. which way is the momentum going ????

I gotta go with their ace here, especially given his daytime numbers whether the indians have the momentum or not..

I only see Verlander's name in the L column against the Indians in the last 2 years

too much info :dizzy:

Who do you think is gonna win the tourney .. like to play a future. : )

Don't think I've bet on an outright winner all week. That is tough to pick a winner these days. Too many really good young golfers and nobody really that much better than anyone else

Mahan Fowler Kuchar all playing really well and capable of winning. David Toms is my sleeper pick in fantasy this weekend

Thanks TL .. just saw all the big payoffs and thought it would be fun to put a little on one of them .. but, I don't follow golf and have no clue.

there are usually a few good futures picks in the "on the links" board here. I just think it's losing money in the long run.

Zach Johnson is putting out of his mind right now... need him to give a few strokes back on the front side

Headin' to the hills on a beautiful day here in NorCal, so I will get these in early with a small card in bases on Thursday. I've decided to go with a team I very seldom play in the Seattle Mariners. The Angels are just (9-15) on the Road TY, while the Mariners are (9-9) at Home TY and evenmoney. Haren (1-5; 4.37) has pitched well in the past vs the Mariners and is (10-5) against them with a 2.60 ERA & a nice 1.16 WHIP, but he is off to a poor start TY at (1-5) & is (1-2) on the Road TY with a 4.63 Road ERA. VARGAS (5-3; 3.34) has pitched well TY with a (5-3) record that could be even better if Seattle had got him some runs. At Home, he is (2-0) w/ 1.27 Home ERA & in two of his three starts against the Angels last year, he went 7 scoreless IP and 6 scoreless IP and will face an Angel's team this year that is one of the lowest scoring teams in the majors. I've always been a Danny Haren backer, but I've decided to take a shot with JASON VARGAS, who not only has pitched very well at Home TY but also has a 2.39 ERA in 10 appearances vs LAA. The Angels on the Road TY vs LH-starters are just (2-6) & (3-9) in their L12 on Road vs lefties & (5-10) overall TY vs lefties. Seattle does have a winning record at Home vs RH-starters at (7-6). The Mariners took two of three from the potent Texas Rangers and have now won five of their last six games, and their pitching staff has allowed just 14 runs over their past six games. They remain Home a Safeco Field where they are (5-1) in the L6 vs RH-starters .. GO MARINERS !!!!

HOMER ALERT .. playing the SF Giants, who are (5-1) in their L6 @ Miami. (5-0) in Vogelsong's L5 starts on 4 days rest. FISH are (0-4) in Sanchez' L4 starts vs a team w/ a winning record. For you UNDA playas .. UNDER is (7-0) L7 meetings between Fish & Giants.

Zach Johnson threw up a sick 64 (par 70) today... But afternoon rounds early in the tourney should be easier than first thing in the morning. Rickie already birdied #1. Lets see a monster round Fowler. Your girl is counting on you to make that $$$
