Looks like a little tougher card on Tuesday .. early leans STL, SD, AZ, SF, TOR, RSOX, CLEV .. back with some winnahs on Tuesday .. I hope. : )

Tough card .. like STL and AZ the best but not thrilled to select the best play (POD) .. thought 'bout parlaying AZ with something as a POD, but don't trust anything for sure today, C.C. and Haren not in form yet, so I landed on 1H AZ -1/2 (-130) as my POD .. love IAN KENNEDY, who in 8.0 IP at home vs Pittsburgh LY allowed them zero runs on one hit w/ 12 K's and 1 walk, but Karstens can pitch a little and in 13 IP against the Snakes LY, he only allowed them 1 run, so Kennedy is going to have to be at his very best, and AZ is going to have to nick Karstens for an early run or two. IAN goes for his third straight win TY and is (8-0) w/ 1.91 ERA in his L9 starts. He was fourth in the CY voting LY w/ a (21-4) record and a 2.88 ERA in 2011. He is (1-0) w/ 0.64 ERA, 0.57 WHIP, & .128 BAA vs the Pirates and will try to continue his home success, in which he is (9-0) w/ 1.88 ERA in his L12 outings at Chase Field. Pittsburgh is (1-6) on the Road and Arizona is (4-0) at Home.

ST LOUIS .. Berkman and Freese may be back in the lineup tonight .. they have been pleading their case .. Cardinals (7-3) send Kyle Lohse to the hill w/ a (2-0) record and a 1.35 ERA. Lohse defeated the Reds a week ago 3-1 and has a 2.00 ERA vs Cinn in his L5 starts against them. Johnny Cueto off to a good start, but in his L2 vs StL, he allowed 8 runs, 15 hits in just 10 IP vs 'em w/ 2 HR's.
SAN DIEGO has beaten Colorado five straight times. Starter Anthony Bass was (2-0) w/ 1.68 ERA in 27 games (3 starts) LY & pitched well TY & had a 0.69 ERA in five meetings w/ the Rockies LY, winning both starts against them and allowing just 1 run in 10 IP.
BLUE JAYS ... Ricky Romero beat the Rays three times LY posting a 2.02 ERA against them & is (1-0) TY w/ a 3.37 ERA.
BOSOX .. Jon Lester makes his home debut and is (3-1) w/ 3.48 ERA in eight career starts vs Texas.
CLEV .. Indians sinkerballer Justin Masterson is (2-0) w/ 2.45 ERA in five starts against Seattle. Cleveland has won 10 of 12 games @ Seattle, averaging 6.3 rpg in those 12 games.
