When is the event in December?

The MGM Grand Executive Invitational is a yearly event for Casino players (invited guests based on Casino play). Poker players do not get invited unless they also play in the pit or slots. It is a freeroll tournament that will take place over the Dec. 3rd weekend. Many of the casino executive play and there are cash bounties placed on them fromm $1k and up depending on their position. There are also prizes for the top finishers awarded in promo chips. Anytime a poker player can enter one of these events, it is definitely +EV since most other players have limited poker experience. The total prize pool for this tournament will be approximately $300,000.

Thanks guys for all the congrats. It has been a little bit of a dry spell for winning a big tournament, even though I have cashed in quite a few there's nothing like taking the number one spot.

Even though the field was not that large, I think it ended up at 78 or 80 players not sure we played for over 13 1/2 hours finishing just before the cutoff to go to day 2.

But get this Eric Baldwin who I beat headsup for the win came back the next day and won that event over 2 days and will also be going to the invitational.

What an accomplishment back to back events 2nd and first. I didn't play the next day because being the old fart I am I was pooped.:142smilie

Hats off to Eric :0008
