We argue about this all the time. I agree to let madjacks' users decide this dispute, and I won't even say who is on what side. The madjacks community should be a fair sampling of people who like sports across the USA.

As a fan, what sport is better? NFL or NCAAF?

Depends......I am from wisconsin originally so for me it's NFL

If I was from bama - probably a different answer - I think it's subjective

Any poll is subjective, but I just think by a fairly large margin, one sport is more popular than the other. I like both. Joker says one sucks and one is awesome. Just trying to show him hes in the minority.

NFL and it's not close. The NFL is comprised of the best of the best that college has to offer. NFL players are the best on the planet. In NFL games you rarely have to make a 4th and 2 decision based on whether or not your kicker can be counted on to make a 34 yarder.

If you want to see the best play week after week then it has to be NFL. I don't even know how big time college fans can go to some of the games. Let's use Bama as an example. Sure, they are the best college has to offer right now and SEC football is great, but is it really any fun to go to a game and watch them beat Western Carolina 49-0? Is there any doubt heading to that game what the outcome is going to be?

Sure, there are blowouts in the NFL too, but on any given Sunday any team CAN win. Did anyone think Western Carolina was gonna win that game, or when they played Western Kentucky or Florida Atlantic?

Boring.

I like the nfl. However, week after week, NCAA football offers a better time for the fan, and it is more fun to watch whether live or at home/the bar.

if youre a fan of the NFL it isnt by accident. you like the sport.

NCAA has all of that plus all of the kids that go to these small schools and go to their teams games on Saturday to support the team. a lot of people who would probably otherwise not be a fan.

for me, NCAA is better because every game means something. these kids are playing for pride, and the ones who are good enough to play at the next level are trying their ass off every single play to make it to the next level.

in the NFL, or any pro sport really, you go down a few scores and you pack it in because why risk an injury in a game that is out of hand when you are already getting a paycheck?

is it a coincidence players have a huge contract year and then a let down after they sign that massive deal?

i dont even live in an area where college football is big but I would definitely say NCAA over NFL.

So going to watch Ohio State play Akron or Youngstown state is a good time? Going into that game you know it's gonna be a 50 point ass kicking. That's fun?

I agree, every game is meaningful in college in the sense that one loss can knock you out of the National Championship picture, but in reality how many MEANINGFUL games does a team play each year? Four, MAYBE five?

If I wasn't betting on college I probably wouldn't watch it.

EVERY game could ruin your season if you dont show up.

Yesterday for example, WVU is a 3 TD dog at home playing a team ranked #11 and that is projected to win the Big 12....WVU just got stomped 37-0 the week prior. they come out with their 3rd string QB and play their asses off and get the win at home.

any hope OK State had for playing in a BCS bowl is likely shattered, at least for the time being, and WVU now has big time confidence.

just an overall better effort from the coaches down to the players in the college game IMO

And any game involving the jags will be better?
