On the course!
Who puts their "record" in their signature, by the way? Isn't that a little like the guy who wears his blaze orange hunting jacket around town all of the time? We get it........You hunt.

I do. I think the only way to truly evaluate whether you are a successful handicapper is to look at long term results. Because of this, I keep track of all my MJ selections by sport. It is not for a pat on the back or recognition. By posting on a public message board you are forced to keep accurate records or someone will call you out. It is very easy to say that one doesn't need to keep track because they know they are ahead.

Not a bit surprising you showed up in this thread. After all, you show up in EVERY thread!!! I have an idea, maybe you can keep track of everyone's record, in every sport. Time certainly isn't an issue.

Why is it that this forum and the posts in it always turn into this type of bull s h i t? For a bunch of guys that like to gamble and drink there are a lot of thin-skinned people around here

This was a solid post/question that was answered seriously about 3-4 times with a ton of BS to wade through to get to the info

For the record, I am in agreement that people who don't ever post any records most likely don't b/c they are on the wrong side of things - usually the guys who don't post records that DON'T fit into that category are easily spotted by the fact that their picks are accompanied by solid info/trends/etc. and they win on a consistent basis - also, I have made a database to keep my week by week w's and l's for the 1st time this year and I am finding it a valuable tool - like others mentioned if I ever got to a point where I was losing big I would have to think about giving it a little break

It is tough to post and win and I've commented on this many times - but no matter what in the end it is the bettor's responsibility to choose whether or not to pull the trigger with their $$ - that being said there are many people who I look forward to reading in the upcoming football season and I look to continue to try and make contributions as well, just not looking forward to all of the immature BS that will undoubtedly surround it

And as always, good luck no matter which sides you choose
