Powerball jackpot rises above $350 million

Played powerball today for the first time, spent $20 on tickets. Have no expectations though as I remember in my Masters class on statistics they mentioned you have a better chance of getting hit by lightning seven times in your life than winning the Powerball lottery.......lol

Bought my first lotto ticket ever tonight. Handed the guy a one dollar bill and he just stared at me. Finally he told me I owed one more dollar. TWO F'ING dollars. LOL no wonder I never play.


I still don't understand how our gov't can sell this to the people but not casinos(better odds) and sports gambling(better odds) and even more so online poker(best odds). The lotto is the biggest crime being committed in the US today.
