how about your state:0corne
no hiding in Va...

does your state allow a non-disclosed winner....:popcorn2

some do..

When you win the Lottery in Virginia, it?s not a secret! Your name, hometown, prize amount, date of win and where you bought the ticket are all public record. In addition, if you win a larger or unusual prize, we post a news release with your photo (yes, your photo will be taken when you collect that prize).
The news release and photo can be posted on our website, Facebook page, other social media platforms like Twitter, or other places for reasonable publicity, and it might be reported in news media. If you win a really large or unusual prize, we might hold a news conference with you.
Remember, the Virginia Lottery offers games to all Virginians, and they're played by Virginians who love games?and people want to know where those big Lottery prizes are won! Putting it into law is the state's way of keeping the Lottery honest. You don't need to take our word for it; you can see it for yourself. After all, if you never heard about any big winners, would you play?
By the way, the Virginia Freedom of Information Act allows the Lottery not to release a player's home address, phone number and Social Security number ? and we don't.

Winning Powerball numbers can be claimed for up to a year after the draw date, but this can vary, depending on which state the lottery ticket was bought in. The revenue created by Powerball tickets is used by each state in whichever way that they choose, with education sectors often benefiting from the profits.

this will give ya 12 months[in some states] the time to move right away...get your lawyers and finance team in place..get the children into new private schools and quit all groups and jobs you may belong to or work at.

also time to select the body guards for all your immediate family ..

What's wrong with moving?

I am the Mayor and Ruler of our community..

My fishing hole w/my boat is literally a walk across the street..less than 100 yards to the pond w/bass and 5 other species of fish.

all the other stuff that comes w/millions of dollars means very little to me other than giving enough away that my friends and family can retire with the cash I give them if they so choose.

Fishing and hanging w/you is fine w/me:0003

Indiana Lottery winners are required to make an appointment w/the main office for any winnings of $50,000 or more.

Sign your ticket and "oh shyt where do I put it."

Exactly!

I won't be staying here either. Nobody knows where I am until I cash in.

Unfortunately I won't be having any of these inconveniences.

Hell here if you win $1000 or more they put the winners in the First Sundays paper each month- listed by town, what ticket you bought, how much that ticket cost, and how much you won. No hiding here!! They do that so they can track people down who owe back child support-etc. Just about every month they will put a list of names and or pictures in the paper and on facebook by county (Each of our counties Sheriff's office has a page) to help track them down too. NO ONE can hide in PA lol

I have an accidental ticket for the next drawing- Saturday I asked for a Power ball ticket for tonight's drawing (Saturday night)- we get home and I see that it's for Wednesday Night- Grrrr. The cutoff to buy powerball is 9:59 pm the night of the drawing. I bought it at 10:18 which incidentally is my Birthday so I think this is a sign I will win something.

I think the thing I would worry about most is my children- I would fear for their lives that someone would kidnap them etc. We live in a small town but we have some crazies that live here too. I would hate to have to move since we were born and raised here. Plus I don't think our ex's would allow us to move away with the kids and we wouldn't give them up!!

Played powerball today for the first time, spent $20 on tickets. Have no expectations though as I remember in my Masters class on statistics they mentioned you have a better chance of getting hit by lightning seven times in your life than winning the Powerball lottery.......lol

Bought $20 worth of tickets and won $20 back.

That's a far cry from getting on a plane today. :0003
