Prayers Needed!!

Spencer, my 7 yr old, was playing in backyard yesterday evening and got hit in head with baseball bat....

we went to hospital to get stitches and CT showed a small amount of blood b/w brain and skull..they kept him overnite and surgeons think the 'body' should reabsorb the blood.

NO fractures to skull, so he may be able to go home today if today's CT shows no more bleeding..

Thoughts are withyou, two years ago my guy was hit in the head with a baseball bat, kid threw it after batting, of course my guy wasn't looking (5 at the time)...

I suffered a fractured skull and concussion at 9 yrs old. I hope all is well

prognosis sounds very good...after reading about the actress natashs richardson who passed away after a skiing accident w/head injury,the doctors were saying that the next few hours immediately following an accident are the crucial ones....

from what i read,if complications are going to arise,they would have probably already occurred...

glad to hear that it looks like lil` lawtchan will be just fine...
