Best wishes - it's so tough when it's the little ones. Hang in there, and positive thoughts to you and your son.

Same thing happened to a kid in my neighborhood when I was around that age. Stitches and "leaky blood" the kid's family called it.

It took about a week before he was up and around, but he was okay!!!!

I hope your son is too - thoughts and prayers are with him.

My little girl got hit in the head with a baseball yesterday-I thought we were in for big problems-a few jokes later she was laughing

My prayers go out for both you and your little one. Those of you who choose to be parents have the hardest job in the world without the accidents that happen. You'll both be out there playing again soon!

Great to hear, L! I had checked this thread at least a half dozen times today hoping for some good news.

Glad the the little whipper snapper is in the clear.

I was on the 'receiving' end of a horse shoe at age 5....the 'ringer' was on my head. Out cold.

I was also on the 'giving' end with a bat. 8 or 9 years old....Swing and a miss and quick contact with the catcher's left cheek bone. I thought I killed him...he was out.

I felt terrible.

He ended up shooting his parents with a shotgun and is in a KS State Prison:scared
