Thanks guys, but my mind is set on this one!
sdf, they won't run their first string offenses for more than a series or two...but on the flip side, they won't run first string defenses for any longer.
Some good QB depth on both sides...Sorgi plays well every pre-season, Shaun King...
The Rams have Frerotte, who still has one of the best arms in the NFL imho, Fitzpatrick has done it all before, and Ragone.
Last year St. Louis scored 17 (30 total @ Chicago), 21 (56 total), 37 (50) and 21 (50)...
...Indi 21( 48), 10 (27), 17 (41), 24 (61)...and 0-38 in the last, so both teams tend to rack the points up.
Remember the new coach has been an offensive co-ordinator, and has already said his philosphy is to 'attack'.
I do agree that St. Louis are likely winners tho, and that taking the -3 could be the best option...hopeflly both will come in.
Thanks AR, but I think that first game of a new year will be a bit of fun, and they'll want to put some points on the board...hopefully!!
Anyway, I'm sure we'll know more about each teams' game plans later in the week.
