Problems at Betmaker.com

As I posted my problems on the NFL sit,I could'nt get through for 48 MINUTES either on the phone or online. I support M.Js by GIVING Betmaker some money TWICE.
So I guess I am one of few that actually does support the 'offshores',not like most of the people at this site.They use their 'locals'.
So what do I get to clarify my problem? A one liner from Jack that says he had no problem getting through. I sure bet alot of $$$ he did'nt try to phone Betmaker and see if he could get through!! I was not the only person to have problems TODAY as we saw over in the NFL forum. So what is this, though shit for me and the others that could'nt get through.Gee, to make it really worse,I had posted OVER BEARS all week.
I have a small business and I know problems happen,but I sure make sure I get ahold of the contact and show SOME degree of interest and try to rectify any problems.
I guess everybody and everything is a little different out there,as I really get tired of being a nice guy and seem to get screwed all the time.
Just a thought on how things are...Spanky...

Been there,...done that! I wouldn't get too worried about it though, they are solid and continue to be one of the better books around. Since I stumbled upon this place many moons ago, I have opened a total of NINE different Offshore accounts with only ONE that wasn't a sponsor at this site. Even had one that folded and took most of the money with 'em. I will say in Jack's defense, he did pursue the problem for many many weeks. I had actually kissed the $800 bones goodbye, until Fletcher sent me an email explaining that he knew some one who knew some one who knew some one that could probably take care of the problem. About 10 days later, my check arrived in the mail and it didn't even bounce when I cashed it!

Thanks Neemer,I'm not worried about not getting paid when I want some cash.
My problem is how these people involved don't give a rat's ass that I can't get up ( and of course it was a winner-but that does'nt matter).
I think it is a shabby way to promote and run a business,it sure is'nt how I do things.
Anyway ,hope your weekend is going the right way for you.....Spanky....
And yes, I will put some funds into other offshores as there is not much loyalty to be found except on MY PART !!

sorry for the "one liner" but i saw your post, checked the site to see if i could get thru, got thru, told you so and left for the day. i didn't know i was supposed to 'stand-by' and wait for clearance to see if i could proceed with my day.

sites go down all the time. it happens to me a couple times a week. it's nothing unusual. i have multiple outs and deal with it. do i get mad? yup.....but there is nothing i can do about it. they want to be up and running more than anybody. that's how they make their money. you think they want to be down on a SUNDAY? HELL NO!

O.K. Jack,point taken.I know I'm not a 'Big Name' here, but I was just upset (which I have every right to be).Your right, Betmaker wants to be up and running,but I could'nt believe their phones were that busy.
Gee,the "big name" idols here can say anything,I just try to USUALLY try to keep a low profile.
Maybe Mike will e-mail me and we can try to smooth things over,cause life is way too short.
So lets sweep this under the rug and try to move on in a positive direction as I am used to living on the back burner.
Spankage.. and thanks for getting back to me,I do appreciate your time as we all have a life outside betting on games..

I'm sorry about the problems you & many of our customer had to get to our site or through on the phones today.

Unfortunately, someone parked they're satellite on our frequency at about 11:45 am. It has nothing to do with us not having enough staff, no having the right servers, or enough bandwidth, etc.

As I understand it, in order to get your bandwidth into your satellite, you need to tune your satellite to a certain frequency which is only used by that satellite. Unfortunately, someone got on our frequency & really screwed things up.

Why Jack could get through & you couldn't, I don't know. We were only getting 2 or 3 phone calls at a time & many of those cutting out in mid-sentence. We had these problems on & off for about an hour.
We'd pop back up for 2 or 3 minutes, get 20 calls & they'd all get disconnected at once.

Our handle on the early games was about 40% less than last week. Please tell me you really don't think we didn't have any interest in getting this rectified. We're the ones that lose out big here. We have customers like yourself pissed off. We couldn't book your action.

As soon as we became aware of the problem, we
were working to fix it. We did everything we could to get the phones & Internet back up before the games (& they were).

We kept all the games on the board as long as long as we could (some went 3 plays into the game).

I don't anticipate any problems like this in the future. Nevertheless, write down this number just in case +5999 733-1250. This is one of our local phone lines. If you can't get through on the phone or Internet, call this number & when the bill comes we'll reimburse you for the call.

I hope you can understand that there really isn't any way we could've anticipated this.
Regardless, of the cause, I do apologize for not being able to meet your expectations on this occasion.

We all face problems in life and we have to learn to deal with them,we don't have your luxury Fletcher(of betting in Vegas),so please don't get involved in this,as we are dealing with it-the people it concerns.Unless you play at Betmaker,which I doubt,sorry if I'm wrong though.
So to all that blamed me!!!Mike DID HAVE problems today and that IS WHAT I STATED,plain and SIMPLE..

i have lots of offshore accounts and they are one,i was saying hats off for them coming in on a busy sunday insted of waiting till monday,and that wasnot in there control and have had things happen every so often with books and online due to sun spots storms things that the book can't control thats why you need to have at least 4.

I got 3,but thanks for input re sun-spots as they will case the feeds to go crazy.Tropical areas can be troublesome.
