I looked at the document very closely at Dem Underground. As I have indicated previously, including in this thread, I am very confident that O was born in Hawai'i and feel this Kenyan certificate is a photoshop.

We already have Trampled and Jabber attacking on a personal level everyone who has an opposing viewpoint. We do not need any more of your kind, "sir". That said, I would be surprised if you aren't already a member of the forum under a different name.

BTW, I wouldn't be interested in sharing living quarters with Hedge:SIB

I don't think you are being fair Cie, but whatever. I will not respond to people who call the President of United states an idiot, a socialist/communist/traitor and question his citizenship. I will just keep quiet. You are right, it adds nothing to the forum.

Cutting and pasting this without crediting or linking Daily Kos, Democratic Underground or wherever you read it, makes you intentionally dishonest by definition.
Here's an excerpt from one source (with the link below) Cie...

?Birthers? Latch Onto Forged Kenyan Birth Certificate

The most obvious problems:

- It records Barack Obama Sr?s age as ?26.? Obama Sr was born in 1936; his son was born in 1961.

- Its publication date is February 17, 1964, but it purports be a document of the ?Republic of Kenya.? Kenya did not become a Republic until December 12, 1964, a year after it won independence from Great Britain.

- It?s signed by ?registrar E.F. Lavender.? Earth Friendly Lavender is a kind of detergent, and government officials who use vanity initials on official documents are, to put it mildly, rare.

- The kicker? The image is part of the extremely ill-informed conspiracy theory that Obama was born in Mombasa?conveniently, one of the more Muslim parts of the country.

This has always been a red flag for conspiracy theorists, so it deserves some explanation. Barack Obama Sr. was born and educated in Nyanza Province, in southwestern Kenya, on Lake Victoria. This is the area where Obama?s family lived and continues to live; Sarah Obama, the step-grandmother of the president, lives in Nyang?oma Kogelo, a small town in the province. But Mombasa is a city on the Indian Ocean, a thousand miles to the east. It didn?t even have an international airport until 1979. And the city wasn?t even part of Kenya when the future president was born. Mombasa was a part of Zanzibar until December 12, 1963, when it became part of the newly independent Kenya.

The new forgery? Why, it claims that the president was born in Coast General Hospital in Mombasa.

- As some FreeRepublic posters have pointed out, the document contains a number that?s either a humorous coincidence or a wink by the forger. It?s number 47,044. Barack Obama, 47 years old, is the 44th president of the United States.

MARK COLVIN: An unsuspecting Adelaide public servant has found himself swept up in a conspiracy to oust the 44th President of the United States from office.
Thanks Woodon. But just to clarify...

We have an Indonesian President who was born in Mombasa, Zanzibar to a Kenyan father and an American mother and it's all documented on an Australian birth certificate.

It's all so clear. Why didn't I see it from the beginning?

You would think that a person who harps about transparency--wouldn't go through all the effort he has to keep his birth certificate-college records-Illinois bar records-medical records etc from being released.

excellent point...but honestly,i think he enjoys keeping the issue alive and that bock and the msm use it when the poll numbers dip or he gets in a jam....

them his minions in the media use it to hammer conservatives as nutjobs...

scarily enough, considering that we have given jihadis habeas corpus rights and are allowing illegals to vote, apparently there are many that think that everyone in the world is a u.s. citizen...

Jabbers... since I've been coming into this political forum, the pattern in here seems to be a daily smorgasboard of negative threads about Obama (first as a candidate and now as the Prez). Sure, there's the occasional negative thread about Bush, Cheney, Palin, etc. But IMO, the anti-Obama threads in here outpace everything else combined, by a wide margin. So I have to ask... Were the anti-Bush threads just as ubiquitous prior to the last Presidential campaign?

Being a liberal, I admit to my inability to be completely objective on this. But IMO, most of the attacks from the left in here are the result of the never-ending barrage of anti-Obama stuff that's propagated on the Internet, on AM talk radio and on some cable news networks.

When I see personal attacks coming from the left in here, I kind of understand where they come from, because if nothing else, the right is relentless in their dogged pursuit to discredit Obama and anyone associated with him. Am I wrong?

I laugh at it all the time because it's like when you were a kid and your brother would start needling you and keep it up until you finally clocked him. And you knew when you did it, you were gonna get blamed for it. But damn... it felt good. :142smilie

Hey, it's an honest question.

Because on this site and others that I frequented, nowhere did I see the left go after John McCain the way the right has been hammering Barrack Obama ever since the Iowa caucuses.

So the question stands. Maybe I can get an objective reply from some of the centrists here.

I honestly do not think that the anti-Bush posts were anywhere near the level that the "Obama is the antichrist" idiocy that we see all over the board now. I think the overall level of discussion in the forum has degenerated. My calling hedge and skul bafflingly stupid certainly has not helped to raise the level. But I will not be responding to blockhead for advocating killing the president or the other dipshits and Cie can save his spiel for somebody else.

Trenchy wants us to leave Barry alone because it?s getting harder and harder for him to defend his messiah.
