Al Gore's attitude toward private car ownership:
"It makes little sense," he says, "for each of us to burn up all the energy necessary to travel with several thousand pounds of metal wherever we go"
Gore, of course, owns no cars, and certainly no plane. He does?

(He also has a third home in Carthage, Tenn.) For someone rallying the planet to pursue a path of extreme personal sacrifice, Gore requires little from himself.
I don't see anything wrong with how Gore lives. What I object to his refusal to live in the way he lectures down his nose at others. This sort of hypocrisy is what gives liberals a bad name.
