I don't think I'll put in too much of a comment here other than to say I can guarantee you there are far more heterosexual non-working losers abusing the government programs than there are homosexuals getting married for benefits. Maybe we should just remove all the benefits of being married entirely. Equally, for everybody. Just because 2 people are dumb enough to enter into an outdated arrangement with a high failure rate shouldn't give them any rights over single people.
