I know this thread is headed to the Political forum (or worse) before long, but it just "ceases to amaze me" how someone who is divorced with children, gambles, and whores around at strip clubs can even deign to speak about the sanctity of anything.

What policies and politics led to YOUR behavior and lifestyle being accepted as main-stream? Cause we really ought to roll those back.
Those are the ones that destroyed the fabric of America.

Marriages were not meant to be dissolved purely to provide convenience and temporary happiness... or to satisfy the lust of man. :00x11

Restore the laws against divorce. This country's moral authority depends on it. Those who support divorce are an abomination before god, and shall burn in hell. :00x11

It reduces marriage to a mutually agreed upon contract between two legal adults, to formalize and legalize a personal relationship. Sickening.
I will go to the grave believing divorce ruins the sanctity of marriage. :00x11

I know this is pointed directly at me, if one party wants a divorce it happens my friend...I just believe a marriage is between male and female that's it...most rational people do, have a nice day

It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve!

j/k of course, but I guess I have heard that at least 165 times.

I don't think I'll put in too much of a comment here other than to say I can guarantee you there are far more heterosexual non-working losers abusing the government programs than there are homosexuals getting married for benefits. I also don't think that if passed this will pave the way for dog/human weddings.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We Americans are a very fortunate people. When I think about it like that, it makes me really not care. "THUMP" <<sound of my grandfather rolling over in his grave

I couldn't deal with a woman, so thanks for taking one for the team.
And damn straight it's your right. Would even be your right to marry one of them if you wanted.
I don't begrudge you for any of your decisions in life. I ain't no saint myself.

My only point is gay marriage isn't going to hurt your upstanding life one bit. Let us have the same rights you've had.
If this country can survive all the trials and tribulations it has to this point, I think it can survive gay marriage. :0008

the worst thing that could happen if two gays married is they could fuck their marriage up completely and end up divorced, sad, pathetic, and grasping onto anything that moves.

like you hedgy.

why not let them have a shot?:0074

they cant do any worse than you.

DIVORCE IS DIFFERENT my friend, two dudes or chicks marrying is completely different, isn't their a sanctity of marriage:shrug: I would rather do away with marriage all together than allow same sexes to marry  thats just me I am sure there are others here who agree

possible scenario: Bob and John are divorced and heterosexual, they get married so Bob can have health insurance because his company does not provide it? John gets killed in an accident, now Bob has survivor benefits  What happens if Bob wants to marry his dog? Where do we stop, it opens pandoras box to many different possibilities. Why not plural marriage?

Marriage is one man and one woman. I will go to my grave believing this :0074

Maybe we should just remove all the benefits of being married entirely. Equally, for everybody. Just because 2 people are dumb enough to enter into an outdated arrangement with a high failure rate shouldn't give them any rights over single people.

i wonder if there will ever be a time where a law is passed to make a single persons life a tad easier  Taxes, benefits, u name it. We get it up the shooter all the time.

That is why it's slowly becoming legal all across the country. :mj07:

Tramper take it easy on Hedgy for once okay. You shouldn't always be jumping on a guy who's wife left him and took the health benefits with her. Feel some compassion for this backwards handjob.

You are a bigot and a fool. Ever sit back and wonder why you have few, if any, friends?

can you imagine if Louis CK followed Hedgie around for a weekend? He would have enough material for a year's worth of stand-up shows.

Just imagine if you had to follow hedgy around for even a day. That is too much swagger any man to handle.

This clip actually mentions what bigots always bring up about marrying a dog. Classic.
