Is Zambrano mature enough to respect and appreciate the situation he and the Cubbies are in. Does he understand the importance??? I think the Cubs are the play tonight but after watching this immature(unbelivable talent)kid pitch all year I have a hard time trusting him with my money.

I share your same concern with Zam, but I believe he will dominate the Marlins tonight. I am hoping for a Cubs/Bosox Series which could be one of the great series of all time with the likes of Pedro, Wood, Prior dominating the oppositions bats.
Best of Luck....

He has been preety solid all year. He has sturggled a bit as of late, but the offense behind him has lacked for him a times

He has a 1.54 ERA against the Marlins and I believe at home he has a 2.99 ERA.

The key will be the first 2 hitters in Pierre and Castillo. The rest of the probably lineup is all right handed hitters, which boads well for Zambrano and really the whole pitching staff in general. If they start to shut down those 2, Marlins Offense will be in trouble.

Listen...I know you guys (Cubs Fans) have been pulling for my Sox big time. I saw some in attendance last night in Oakland cheering us on. I love it. BUT, tonight, and only tonight, I believe the value lies with the Marlins. This is basically their only chance to strike first before the face Prior/Wood in 4 of the next 5 games.

I agree with everything you said about Castillo and Pierre and here's why I like the Marlins tonight:

Marlins rely heavily on speed and defense, Cubs will need the long ball more times than not(much like the Red Sox). And in most games I think the Cubs will get a few home runs. Florida has 4 exceptional baserunners in Pierre, Castillo, Encarnacion, and Derek Lee. If Pierre or Castillo reach base with no outs chances are they will be on 2nd with 0-1 outs, 3rd with 1-2 outs. Middle of Marlins order has been solid, driving in runs in key spots. Here's the edge: with speed...ground balls with 0-1 outs can score runs, given that Pierre or Castillo are on 3rd and Encarnacion and Lee are up. I know I'm betting on situational baseball to win but I like the matchups tonight. Very small though.

My Play
Marlins (+115) $50 to earn $57.50
Might Parlay Marlins and Under 8
I'm seeing a 3-2, 2-1, maybe even a 1-0 affair. It seems a lot of people like the over but I like both pitchers to pitch well. The Marlins are one team where walking one of the first three guys in the top of the order is a REAL mistake. Small Ball tonight.
