I hope you don't mind me posting this question in an open forum. If so, then you can either ignore it, or reply by e-mail if you prefer.
Several months ago, we were involved in a thread about the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste site. You commented at the time that you were so concerned about the federal government making Nevada into a dump that you were contemplating moving out of Las Vegas and/or out of state. I don't recall the specifics of what you said, but I seem to remember you saying you might leave LV.
First of all, is this true and do you still feel this way?
No doubt, there has been more news and press in the RJ and Sun about the dangers and I am eager to hear if your thoughts have changed on the subject.
Second, how would your move from LV fit with your sportsbetting? I presume (perhaps wrongly) that you bet locally. Or, do you use offshores?
Finally, as someone who has lived in LV and been successful at sportsbetting -- do you believe living in LV as a professional sports handicapper is a positive or negative? From my own perspective, I prefered to be in LV during baseball season because of access of information that was not always available outside of LV (this was before there were hundreds of websites). However, with the NFL, I prefer to be outside of LV because the time away from gambling helps me to focus and concentrate on the games better. Obviously, you have great talent and discipline. I'd be very interested (as would readers) in your perspective.
Thanks.
