Normally during the weekly leauge rounds a buddy and me play for a little something per stroke even though we can't always be in the same foursome, honesty is not a problem, or so I thought and we usually end up close to even each week anyway, but I was in the group behind him this week and he hit his tee shot on the first hole into the rough which was REALLY high this week and could not find it, now in our league if everyone agrees the ball was not close to out of bounds or a hazard and you can't find it because the grass is too high or it rolled into a hole, etc... you can drop one where everyone in the group agrees it was, which he did, I hit my shot near where his shot landed and I found his ball which was a Condor, a ball that is not legal to play with as it is too small or too heavier or something (I'm not sure) that makes it go farther. My question is should I be pissed or is this not a big deal, do those kind of balls really give you any sort of distance advantage? I don't think they are any more expensive than the ProV1's I play with and I don't think the ProV1 gives any noticable distance advantage, I like them because they stop quicker on the greens with the middle and longer irons.
Again, do those juiced up balls go any farther or should I just not care about this?
