You know whats funny. 35-31 is typical Pac 10 football. But the east coast sees these scores and say Pac 10 is soft on defense. Now they get to see how the #1 pre-season SEC defense does against Pac 10 team. LSU was picked #1 or #2 to finish in the SEC. ASU was not in the Pac 10.

ENOUGH OF THE BS ARGUMENTS PAC 10 DOESN'T PLAY DEFENSE!

PAC 10 has highly sophisticated offenses and poor LSU needed bad ASU special teams play and 40 yard bomb to just compete with ASU!

right now they've had 3 timeouts and 1st and 10 from the 30. throw over the middle, pick up yards, you have all your timeouts

As everyone can see. ANY TEAM IN THE PAC 10 can upset you. Why? Because the offenses are explosive.

I had LSU. How ASU didnt win by 21 is beyond me...that punt where the punter ran right over to have it blocked for the 2nd Special Teams TD in a row was downright ridiculous.

BTW, not only did they not blitz on that 4th and 10 for the ball game, they only sent 3! QB had all day to make that throw; on the three previous plays they sent 5 and blew up each one.

ASU coaches got exactly what they deserved, it took a lot not to win that ball game.

Koetter is an idiot. WHY ARE COACHES AFRAID TO BLITZ? WHY LET THOSE SUPER FAST/TALENTED WR's OF LSU RUN AROUND ALL DAY? IDIOT!

ASU deserves to lose and LSU was outplayed badly.

Both coaches were afraid to blitz. hell saban blitzed damn near every 2nd and 3rd long situations last year. Its a far cry from the way Saban ran his defense.

Both teams couldnt cover my grandma or nickleback. Both played horrible pass defense. And both coaches were idiots not to blitz more.

I said overall they are a better team that means from Week 1 to Week 11 they are a better team. They have the better running game, they have better special teams, they have better team speed, hell i like Russel better than ASU QB. I just think they are a better team thats all.

Did ASU outplay LSU? Yes on some occasions they did but LSU outplayed ASU on some occasions.

LSU earned those TD's they were not given to them. The blocked FG was not a gift.. They still had to block the FG and run it back.

The punt maybe was a gift but they still had to block it and run it back. Remember guys special teams is 1/3 of a football game.

The running punt was absolutely fawkin stupid on ASU's part. Thats what you get when you try the running punt bad things happen.
