Don't act like Detroit is all that great Mover. Granted I want more than anything for this to change, but don't be so blind either. When you act like there isn't an issue, you can't resolve the issue

Nick never said Detroit is a great city to live in, yes crime is up I can't deny it. Doesn't sound like you live in Detroit is it that bad in Allen Park ? I don't know what kind of income you have but move to a safer area. I live in Clinton Twp. & I do not feel the need to buy a weapon. I have always supported the police & fire depts. with renewing bond issues but I'll be damned if I'll give them anymore , especially when I read that the unsaid rule for guys retiring is to let them work as much overtime the last two years to jack up their pensions. Come out to Macomb Co. I will sell you my house & I'll even throw in a gun. Be safe !

Ya, I know all about the last two year deal and also don't agree. A lot of the new contracts are getting away from that because its INSANE. I am actually looking to move somewhere nicer, just need to work a little more to save a nice down payment. I don't plan on staying here in AP. Workin in the e.r though, I hear about the issues all around. Clinton T. may have some issues you don't even know about yet, but I haven't heard anything about it. I would love to stay north but my job that I actually like is in Dearborn and Canton. It is what it is.

As far as moving out of state, it's currently not an option.
