very sorry and sad to hear that jack...

my beagle and my parent's beagle (chump, who I've grown up with) are my 2 best friends in this world.

makes me sad knowing that chump is now 11 and not doing real good but he's doing better than he was around xmas...

Sorry Jack, have 3 myself, have had dogs my entire life., can definitely relate. Condolences to your family as well, just picture Gracie crossing the rainbow bridge running and playing without a care or ailment in the world, biting some rottie in the ass and giving you a wink. It's worked for me when I lost a dog or had to put one down. They are just as unique as we are.
sorry

sad to hear the loss Jack.

Any pet is same as family (sometimes even more - at least they stay loyal to ya)

Cheers !!!

I am saddened about your loss, Jack. We had two Schi-Tsus die about 6 months apart a few years ago.Had them since they were puppies.they were around 12 when they died.We got another Schi-tzu who was a rescue shortly after that. She did not deserve her former owners. We love her so much, as I know you did yours.
They give us so much pleasure and love, then they have to leave us.Really heart-wrenching.

jack,

at one time i thought that dog owners were ridiculous about how they treated their dogs. but 5 years ago we got a dog, who is now part of our family. we would be heart broken if something happened to her.
so now jack i fully understand the loss you are feeling & you have our heart felt sympathies for your loss.

Hmmm Must admit I prefer animals to most adults. Always in a great mood, always glad to see ya,and 100% loyal to the end,no questions asked. Excluding children whose traits are similiar adults are just about the extreme in all catagories.
While most say I don't want another pet and go through this again, the best thing you can do is buy a puppy just like her and the pain will subside quickly. Trust me on this one,Jack.

Jack, Gracie has crosssed over the bridge to a wonderful dog heaven, where she will be so happy and healthy. Sorry for your loss. I have been there, I know what you feel.

Jack, so sorry to hear about Gracie :( ....... remember other posts you have made about her, and even hearing you speak so highly of her at the SB parties.

some people may think this is sick and warped, but there is not much difference at all in losing a child and losing a long time pet...they are both family, and it hurts like hell.

hang tough darlin', and hopefully will be seeing you and your *troops* in Jan./Feb.
