Kick i can't listen to that video because my audio is down but i have to call a spade a spade here. To me Dana showed some maturity bringing back Randy. I know it is all about money but i was sure this rotten prick :mj07: was a grudge holder. He put his ego aside and did what is best for the sport. I appaud :00x1 Dana here. Now make sure you read this before i change my mind.

dana might hold grudges, but that won't stop him from signing a fighter that can make him money. for example, tito ortiz is negotiating with the ufc about possibly returning.

i don't think dana ever held a grudge against randy though. dana didn't really say anything critical about randy during their legal skirmish. the grudge that dana developed over the randy situation was with fedor. he appears to blame fedor for randy's temporary departure.

I can't believe you guys think a guy who was a WORLD CLASS WRESTLER, OLYMPIC WRESTLER can't go the distance. If anything, I'm sure this guys cardio is off the charts.

I'm in no way saying Randy doesn't have the cardio, because he didn't kill that ECO-Challenge for nothing. There's a reason he's calling Captain America. However, to completely doubt Lesnar who was a HW wrestler in college and was an Olympic wrestler and his conditioning IMO is pretty stupid.

lesnar didn't pursue the olympics although he probably could have made the team if tried, but i don't think he would have been a lock. stephen neal, the guy who beat brock in the 99 ncaa's won the worlds in 99 and failed to make the 2000 olympic team.

that's irrelevant details though, brock is said to have great endurance and with his weight advantage will wear on randy. also, brock looked fresh after his win over heath. granted heath didn't really push him, but a 290 lb guy not being taxed after that fight is impressive.

Kickserv- You do understand that stylisticly this is a HORENDOUS matchup for Randy, right?

In previous fights, I've given him the chance because of the styles. However, I just can't see anywhere he beats Brock unless it's a submission and well, he doesn't have a history of that.

Even if he's able to get Brock down somehow, Brock is so big and strong that he should be able to change that quickly.

We have to understand that the HW division is VERY different from the other divisions. The other divisions fighters are always around the same and typically the same strength, given a few fighters are much stronger. However, in the HW division, it's just 205+ and stay at 265 or under. There's an ENORMOUS difference in size, speed, and strength. The worst part is, Brock is going to typically be alot bigger than his opponent. Brock is obviously going to be stronger than any of his opponents. The sickest part is, he's most likely just as quick if not faster than his opponents.

There's a big difference between 2 185 lb guys wrestling on the ground then a guy 265 and a guy at 225. If Randy ever takes Brock down, I don't see it lasting long...

I think Brock suprises many in the way he wins, and wins via KO/TKO EARLY.

random thoughts, as usual..........

random thoughts, as usual..........

I think Lesnar is a horrible matchup for anyone. Like i said, the guy needs his own weight class...

Randy is already a small heavyweight.. he weighs in around the 225 mark if im not mistaken.. Im sure he'll put on another 10-15 lbs for this one, but still...... he has struggled w/ big guys throughout his career, minus Sylvia/Gonzaga and a couple others, but Sylvia/Gonzaga have shown their true colors as of late. Sylvia; choked out immediately by Fedor & Randy was content w/ ground control (not active submission attempts, just laynpray) for five rds. Gonzaga; has shown he is a quitter, once against Randy also against Werdum.

Not bashing Randy, i think he'll come out w/ a great gameplan... his style is tough on his opponents, but also tough on himself..... he will not, I repeat WILL NOT be able to handle Lesnar w/ his clinch game anywhere near as easily as Syvlia/Gonzaga. Brock's body is too big to greco-clinch him. :mj07:

I see Randy training for a lot of takedowns and td set-ups, working submissions extensively w/ ADCC champ Robert Drysdale, who now works w/ and for (as a class instructor) Couture. If his focus is entirely on submitting Lesnar, he can do it.

p.s. kicksy, since u talk to Dana White regularly on the phone, tell him to tell Randy that I will buy his new biography if he wins this fight w/ Brock. ;)

Brock will most likely be fighting around 285-290

Randy will most likely be fighting around 235-240

No matter how generous you want to be with Couture's weight, he's going to be giving up atleast 40-50lbs to someone stronger and faster to him. EEEEKKKK
