I jumped on Cleveland when it opened as a pick at 5 dimes(why pick em?....,i have no clue...maybe because the browns haven`t been favored over the ravens since around 2008).......I figured,hey,the ravens aren`t going anywhere this year(literally 3/4 of their offensive impact players and several of their their best defenders are gone) so why not make a few bucks on their misfortune?....no harm done...
the ravens have no qb(did anybody watch matt schaub in Oakland?)..top 2 rb`s out for the year(rookie starting,2 udfa`s backing him up,neither of which has a carry for the ravens this year)...our best tight end hasn`t played in 2 years because his pesky hip won`t stay in it`s socket...the starter is a second year guy who caught 10 balls last year and 29 this year as the starter...the back-ups are rookies...steve smith sr and starting slot mike campanaro out for the year....our number 1 draft pick(and expected deep threat breshad perriman) never saw the field this year... we have several udfa`s and a ram castoff chris givens at wr....our starting center is out for the year.....our left guard and left tackle are "doubtful".....
one guy who has performed well is fullback kyle jusczyk...he`s very good catching short passes out of the backfield...a gamer...
on defense,our best interior lineman (ngata) is in Detroit,one of our best pass rushers(pernell McPhee) is in Chicago..and Terrell suggs is out with his second achilles tendon rupture........
our secondary is legendary in it`s ineptitude...still.all that said about the defense,it`s still rated higher than the browns` defense...of course in the first meeting in Baltimore,mccown set an all time cleveland franchise passing record throwing for 457 yards....
but....after opening at pick,now i see that the number`s hit browns -4 at some shops....and I`m getting a little queasy..
with all the ref conspiracy baiting going on(I haven`t bought into most of it,but I`m aware that many have) I`d suggest that everyone watch this game closely...I`m going to watch the refs tonight like a hawk...objectively..
with no implications(other than to embarrass the league) at play in this clusterf-ck of a game,what are the chances that the books take it in the shorts to end their week?....who knows?..
...let`s see if a case can be made for any shenanigans...if there are,you`d think they`d go the ravens` way(given the line movement)...
i can always take the 4 and hope for a middle...realistically though,even vs the browns,the ravens seem ridiculously outmanned here tonight...and it`s in Cleveland...
a shit game but might be fun to watch just to see how things shake out...

The UNDER is 6-1 in Cleveland?s last seven against division opponents?.The Browns are 1-6 SU and ATS in their last seven as a favorite against the AFC North?.The road team is 9-2-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings...
Schaub is 0-9 ATS in his past nine starts, his last coming in 2013 with the Texans.
