Nevermind, I looked it up. I thought they only moved down a few spots in the first round when traded that #25 pick. Shows you how closely I was paying attention to the draft yesterday. :142smilie

Interesting. I think that trade could go either way. They definitely got value by acquiring more picks, but they also passed on a guy who SHOULD end up being a premiere WR.

the first 10 picks taken off the board are very important to the ravens....

from what i`m hearing, they`re interested in c.b.chris cook(u va),cody(bama),gronkoski(az),griffen and mays from usc and wooten from lsu...didn`t even mention kindle(he`ll be gone)....

theres a real chance most of these guys are gone by the time the ravens pick...

we`ll see....

Am I the only one who thinks Cody will be a bust in the NFL? I doubt he would last to #60, but the Seahawks have said they will probably go DL with that pick. I think I would throw up all over myself if he was there and they took him. :chew:

Victory Lane
2nd Round (43rd overall)
3rd Round (70th overall)
4th Round (114th overall)
..............................................................

Dez Bryant is a head case and dumb as a stump

He could go head to head with Cody and lose.

I think they did the right thing. This draft is so deep the players they select will tell the story if they did the right thing.

In the meantime the Falcons chose Sean W and I am very happy they got him. He will help alot this year.

With all the players on defense that were hurt the Falcons will be so much better this year.

Cant wait but it seems a long long ways off.

Ravens would have had to trade up to get Bryant, they didn't pass on anything. Trade up with only 5 picks? Then he traded back and got a great deal. What are you guys even talking about?

You're right. I misspoke when I said they "passed" on Bryant. I forgot that he went right before their pick. Like I said, I didn't pay very much attention to the draft once it got into the late first round. And I don't even have a good excuse like I was drunk.

I guess I just don't understand what weasie wanted to do with the 25th pick when Bryant wasn't available anymore

Yeah, they probably would have taken him if Dallas didn't. So? They took him and he wasn't available so they traded back and got 3 for 1, IMO a great move.

they could have exchanged position(2nd to 3rd)...dangle troy smith(who wants out) or clayton....

throw a later round pick in there....

that`s what they`re paying newsome for...to be creative....

SOB. That's not it? I guess that would explain why it says "chew." :00x33

Maybe I should say if the Seahawks draft Cody I will "chew" all over myself?

I need to just stop posting because I'm digging deeper and deeper here. :s1:

Dangle Troy Smith & Clayton ?....One is a short qb with no arm & the other is a receiver in his 30's....nobody will take those guys....

They're playing old school Metallica in the background at the draft? :142smilie Seriously? Is Goodell going to come out with a big ol' mullet and ripped up acidwashed jeans too? We can dare to dream...

there are teams that are interested in smith, believe it or not.....there were 5 openly interested in the offseason..

as i said...this is why newsome`s there...get creative...when this level talent falls in your lap ,be proactive...like dallas was...
