I hate both teams......however, NE has not beaten a team that finished with a winning record all year, in fact they only PLAYED two teams that finished with a winning record this season (PIT and NYG) and LOST to both of them......BAL on the other hand, is 7-0 (including the playoff win vs HOU) this season against teams that made the playoffs...Everybody I know is talking about who NE is going to be playing in the SB, I think they don't get by BAL......They (BAL) have gone into NE before and beat them in the playoffs, I don't think that they will be intimidated by NE at all......I think BAL +7 1/2 is a great play (obviously, I could be wrong)......good luck to all.......(for the record, I have a few beers in me............)

scary thing is, the PATS were also lookin ahead I am sure. They knew the broncos were not going to give them a game at home.
and they still put up 50....scary to think about what a focused NE team is capable of. just saying, im sure both teams werent worried about their opponents...

Everyone keeps talking about how bad the New England Defense is and statistics show that everyone is right. New Englands defense is Aweful by the numbers. Everyone keeps giving Bill Belichick hell because they say he has just stopped coaching his defense. I feel that the nfl is different now and I think belichick preaches a different mindset of defense. No penalties is the patriots motto and referees will call anything these days so try and intercept the ball or try to cause a fumble, and let the other team score if need be but no penalties. Let Brady try to win for us

what i see is that ne defense is better than balt defense almost across the board in the yards per point stats.......
which leads me back to my stat in another thread that in 7 of 8 playoff games flacco has led his team to LESS than 300 yards of total offense........
those two stats hold up and balt wont score many points unless they get turnovers and short fields.
personally, i dont see balt getting to 20

if you correlate yards to points and plays to points.....yes, that would be correct.
The bottom line is how many points you give up in a game, not correlating yards per point.
The Ravens give up less points per game than the Pats. Period. Slice it any way you want, the Ravens give up less points per game, per year, less points.
