What a crazy year so far. Ravens beat top teams for SB. Lose 8/9 main players to FA and retirement. In that 8/9?, two players who were the heart and soul of the defense who made Ravens defense sucessful. Talking heads and other team fans laughing how Flacco ruined the team with a big contract that impacted this years cap(not even close to being the truth). Same people already declaring the Ravens will go 8-8 this year or worse. Meanwhile, Canty,Spears, and now Dumervile are the newest Raven s on defense.
Folks, just sit back, buckle up, I think 2013 season is going to be another wild one in Baltimore. If Ozzie does well in the draft and there are more FA additions, The NFL may have to put some sort of sanctions on the Ravens to slow them down in their rebuilding year. LOL

SI?s Peter King reported that Dumervil?s deal will cost the Ravens just $2.5 million against the cap in 2012 ? a $1 million base salary plus the prorated portion of a $7.5 million signing bonus.

can`t overstimate how much this means...

a healthy suggs and dumervil coming off the edges...

upshaw completing the rotation....the addition of canty and spears inside and you have a potentially solid front 7.....

now...get a decent inside linebacker in the draft(maybe minter) and we`re right back in the thick of things....

we have 12 draft choices this year...which means we can jockey around in the draft to maybe get more than one guy that can potentially help immediately...

that was a great get by ozzie and decosta....really a big time move...:00x30 T !!

I don't think they were on top of things. How about a phone call to find out what's going on? They wanted to keep Dumervil and Dumervil wanted to stay. I guess the agent was mostly at fault but it all was a total clusterfuk.
