Ravens 2nd half +105 for 4* - Just have a feeling they keep the Steelers let up and let Baltimore score 1 or 2 TD's... hopefully Pitt doesn't score much.

I got the over at 17, gonna try to double up on what I've almost won tonight...go big or go home. I figure the starting Offense and Defense will be out for Pitt at the start of the 4th. And if they keep them in it'll be because Ravens are scoring and threatening, which means more points (hence the over bet).

Any one get pizza tonight? I had a hamburger and some left over bloomin onion :)

"the bunker"
I'm astonished how this Ravens defense (down by 4 TD's) can continue to talk smack after every play. Just mind blowing.
Raven's defense sucks, try covering someone and talk less!:142smilie :142smilie

cause they`s street....they better pull rothlisberger before ray lewis pulls a "scooby doo" on his ass...

reminds me of the richard pryor skit where he`s gettin` his ass kicked,he`s crying and still mouthin` off at the guy as the guy pulls his pants down and kicks him in the ass.....

billick needs to put a stop to this shit until they can play like they can talk smack...

that is annoying...

Bill Parcells & Mike Ditka said they change there whole gameplan based on rainy weather. But what do they know?

This was a decent rain and I didn't see the over/under drop more than a half a point tonight.

those guys ran the ball most of the time anyway, what did they change their gameplan to???

plus, i dont care about game plans.......just because it's raining or snowing doesnt mean teams cant score.

total was 37 yest early today...went down to 35.5 at my local tonight (saw it at 35.5. online at books as well)

point is, most gamblers see rain/snow and rush to bet an under.....

only time i'd rush to bet a no brainer under is if there was 25-40 mph winds that actually affected the passing game and fg's or 20 below zero.

your opinion on this would have been better served BEFORE the game started and BEFORE all the points were scored. it means nothing after the fact. sheese.

it can go either way in weather like this. either way. tooting your horn after the fact is pointless.

the point is you either like an over or under or you dont

you dont automatically play an under or change a bet just because it's raining and/or snowing

saw tons and tons of "whats the weather like"...."oh my god, it's raining" take the under posts......

the only weather that really matters is high winds or well below freezing cold.

no, the point is; make your point BEFORE the game instead of AFTER. that's the "point".

if you're a totals expert when betting games in bad weather, post a thread educating us BEFORE games are played.

and weather does have an impact on games.

don't post links. link edited!
"You are looking for the extremes of all of it," said Sinisi. "You are looking for the exceedingly cold or out of the ordinary high winds or heavy (rain). A perfect example of that is that Miami/Pittsburgh game (week three in the NFL). (The rain) was just torrential for the whole (game). That's the extreme that you have to be concerned about."

all i'm saying is the rush to bet an under because it's raining or snowing it a mindless wager, bet the under because you LIKE the under anyway......the only weather that should change your bet or make it a no brainer is "extreme" wind and/or cold

while rain can effect the game, it usually has a neutral effect on the over/under as the turnovers that are caused by the rain can lead to short fields and easy scores.

this isnt revolutionary stuff.
