Yeah about as sad as the day he got away with murder.

ignorance is a state of being uninformed (lack of knowledge).[1] The word ignorant is an adjective describing a person in the state of being unaware and is often used as an insult to describe individuals who deliberately ignore or disregard important information or facts. Ignoramus is commonly used in the US, the UK, and Ireland as a term for someone who is willfully ignorant.

If I could I would put money at even odds that ray is coming back

unless its a physical issue and I am not talking about him being a step slower. He is still a starting LB in the league.

Is Ray sneaky enough to try motivation tactics?

This.

He said all along if his son got a FB scholarship to play for Miami, he would be there for him 100% and be attending every single game. I believe him.

Yeah about as sad as the day he got away with murder.

The guy was Innocent 13 years ago and has turned his life around which is more than most people can say. He has been a pro bowl LB for 13 seasons and has given EVERYTHING on the field of play. Will be a hall of Fame player and rightfully so. One of the best ever at his position........Period. :0008

That would be a matter of conjecture. Glad he got his life turned around but there is still two dead individuals.

"Lewis and two friends started a fight with a group of people. Two of the people they were fighting were stabbed and killed. Lewis and his friends were indicted on murder charges. Eventually Lewis turned on his friends offering to testify against them in return for his freedom. Lewis admitted lying to investigators and claimed to had somehow lost the blood covered white suit he was wearing at the time of the killings. He also made financial settlements to the families of both victims.

Im not sure if he actually stabbed anybody but either way he played a vital part in two people losing their lives. He sold out his friends, lied to police, hid evidence (white suit), and paid money to the victims families. Just another case of a pro athlete buying his way out of trouble."

Was he found Guilty? You say that "your not sure" that he actually stabbed anyone? Perception is not reality in the court of law. Evidence obviously was not found to deem him guilty..... So therefore he is not. Only guilty of hanging around with the wrong people. He has made a major change in his life for the better.

one of the greatest football players ever....good teammate...probablyl
good friend....um, no

snitches gonna snitch, haters gonna hate

ever since that fat fck siragusi cheated and threw his fat ass on gannon to cause harm in the afc championship game i've hated this team

i will however say that you guys are crazy if you think if it was just some random dude and not Ray Lewis in that situation that he would have gotten the same deal as Ray.

It's the complete opposite. They would have asked Joe Blow a couple questions and let him go. The prosecutor was licking his chops for a Ray Lewis trial and FAME!

Since he was innocent, why did he need to turn his life around?

And for Jack - I'm not debating his innocence in reference to the case. Just thought it was an odd choice of words.

People believe what they want to believe anyway.

likely because of how old a story it is and people keep bringing it up, that would be my guess.

Actually, the Fulton County DA was in no way "licking his chops" as you say to go after Ray Lewis. In fact, he cut a deal with Ray to drop the murder charges in exchange for testimony against his two friends as well as a guilty plea to obstruction.

So Ray Lewis was in no way innocent as some are claiming. He pled guilty to obstruction of justice, namely lying to police.

Great football player, but let's not deify someone who was involved in two killings.

But as has been stated, it was 13 years ago and he does seem to have learned and become a better person from the incident. He was a very young man and young men make mistakes. I know I made my share. Let's not put him on a pedestal, but let's not vilify him either. He is just a flawed human being like the rest of us.

Where it is real F ing COLD
I would be willing to bet almost anything that most people would be crucifying Randy Moss had he been involved in the same thing Lewis was. Just saying, I don't believe Lewis stabbed those guys but I'm pretty sure he knows who did (from what I have read.) we know he was GUILTY of lying to the police.
