I found Imperial Palace for about $250 after taxes. Great location, but so many say it sucks. :shrug:

i stayed there many years ago also....that's my point...they haven't changed anything over the years..
they are very unhelpful, and frankly, I really think they don't know. They said if the hotel was still closed, I would be accomodated at a sister property. If I could get a guarantee that won't be Circus Circus, I wouldn't even be thinking about this.
IP has upgraded rooms in last 2 years, still not great but foir location & short time in room & cheaper $$$ not a bad option. owned by harrah's now

Well, I've found Flamingo and Bally's both cheaper than the reservation I have at Monte Carlo (that could be diverted to Circus Circus or Excalibur). Like Jack said, I could always reserve this then cancel later. :shrug:
